Other than a couple bent poles its a pretty good bunk bed. If youre buying the futon 8 mattress though, be prepared of having the difficulty of putting the bed back to a futon. When I pulled the futon into a full size bed it was nice but putting it back is the hardest thing. The mattress is too thick in my opinion. However, it was the most bought futon with the bunk bed and I have no idea why. If I could Id return it, but that is way too much of a hassle in itself. So if youre buying this bunk bed definitely buy a mattress thats either 6 or 7 inches 8 is too thick no matter how good its ratings are. Oh and make sure to have a good tool that can unbend the poles that comes inside the box.
First of all package is way to heavy for a regular (1) UPS driver to be delivering thi This was literally dropped right on the steps when delivered as my daughter heard it in the house when they dropped it. This had a lot of new and added tape on box and it looks like it had been opened. I opened the box to find parts dented and scratched along with several parts missing. Ordered replacement parts from mfr. we will see how long it takes to get parts out to me. My daughter is more unhappy than me as she was so excited about her new bed only to be let down. This should have been sold as a open merchandise and price accordingly.
Shipped quickly, pretty easy assembly, you dont have to attach both ladders, decent quality, and the bottom full size is on the bigger side, which was great for our mattres My girls love it, the only somewhat negative comment I have is that the steps are a bit farther apart than anticipated.but my 4 year old can still climb.
It squeaks over time, need to tighten the screws. Thats the only complaint I have I guess I kinda wish it had an option to install the ladder on the other corner of the bed.

It took my husband and I about 4 hrs. to assemble, from opening the box to laying out the mattresses. I recommend the Signature 6 for the top bunk and the Signature 8 for the bottom. Guests arrive this evening, so well see how they like it. Our granddaughter will be the first to use it, so Im sure shell love it. I would recommend using the large plastic sliders for the bottom of the four legs so that you can move the bed easily to change the sheets or make the bed and/or to protect hardwood or laminate flooring. They can be purchased through , a hardware store or one of the large big box home improvement stores

The bunk is everything that we wanted. Went together easily. Directions state to not use power tools. We used a driver with a clutch set at 3 (out of 16) and speed up assembly by several hours.
