Took me about 6 hrs to build by my self. You will need 2 people to get it down half the time. There were some problems getting a few screws in but i fixed that by inserting screws first before mounting the pieces just to make sure. Top bed hold 200lb person or less. Bottom bed holds aboit 400lb or so. Its sturdy. I hear people complaining about it not being sturdy but what you expect a 2000 quality bunk. I treat my things with kindness and they last longer, so its up to you.
Top is for a twin size and full size bed on bottom. It very light easy to move around which its great for me to clean, it just slides.
I give it 5 stars cause its good for my purpose short term for now and affordable.

i was looking for an affordable bunk/bed and this one always came out on top with top reviews but the price of this keep changing . I finally found the right price and went and got it. Shipping was fast and the package came nice and heavy . Assembly took me a while but everything fit perfectly and smooth given all the parts. My kid now enjoys the top bed and the small one loves the bottom .Will definitely tell my friends about it and would tell them to buy it from this company
Poor packaging, 89/pound box, first one went missing, second one late, then hardware kit not in box when opened, took another week to request missing parts from web site and deliver, not responsive to complaints. Couldnt assemble at first because one of the welded end braces was made too wide, but took it apart and put that piece on bottom and finished assembly by one adult after several hours. Others have noted that bolts are tightened with Allen wrench but dont lose it as there are no lock washers nor nuts to keep bolts tight. Mattress is supported by metal rods in metal frame so the bed is noisy/there are plastic spacers but only to secure the rods not to cushion those joints. support was fine but and UPS get failing grades here. Top bunk 200/pound, lower 250/pound limit, be careful. Bed made in China and looks cheap and institutional. Next time I would shop Room to Go, Ikea, or local Wal/Mart store. It would be hard to repackage this bed and send it back once you unwrap it, so beware.

Still not as sturdy as Id like, but for the price, I guess you get what you pay for. The box was completely beat up and one of the pieces was smashed and bent. It stopped 5 places before it got to us. could not offer a replacement part, but was willing to give us a discount. Just be aware this box is heavy and who knows how it is thrown around by the delivery driver.

nice,sturdy and tall
bed is very tall about 6 ft plus tall . i am about 510 and i am eye ball level with the upper bed bunk where the mattress sits.seems sturdy so far
