Definitely worth it, this fan is a beast! Its been 5 years now since we purchased this and as long as you open and clean it twice a year youll get the same results and youll have it for about 8 to 10 years ! Maybe even longer . Every product does have its lemons nothing it perfect but when you get a glass of lemonade the bitter becomes all so sweet !
I have used these fans for years, if you need a fan to circulate air in your house, this will do it. When its hot and humid, noise level is not a priority. They last, I think due to the simple design that is focused on just doing what a fan does: move air.
This fan is very powerful and works great! The only downside is that it is so loud you can hear it all the way across the house! My daughters room has horrible airflow for some reason and its really been a big change for her so shes excited about it. The other good thing is that its sitting on her dresser. Its been sitting there a few weeks now and hasnt fallen off. Once you put it somewhere it stays put!
Ran for 30 months straight every single day until just now the bearings are starting to hiss and squeak when moved, a clear sign your fan is on the fritz. We use it behind a couch to aerate the room and as a noise buffer for the cats.
We do not want the fan breaking down while we are not home, so we are replacing it with the same model.
This fan really blows (pun intended), it has three speeds and can mount be mounted on a wall if you really want too. The fan can get a bit loud, but at least you know its only doing it due to the massive airflow it provides. I would recommend.
I bought this fan originally about 8 years ago, and it lasted that entire time. I used it in my bedroom and slept with it on every night and let it run during the day. When I worked from home I would leave it on for weeks at a time without turning it off. It has great airflow and a lot of power behind it, which makes it nice for a cool night of sleep or even summer days. Ive owned many fans in my time, and this fan has proven to be one of the best. It is well worth the money. Recently the engine burned out from the 8 year old one I owned and I bought a new one right away. I have noticed it is a bit louder than the last one I owned, but it works amingly and the loudness of it becomes white noise. I highly suggest purchasing this fan if youre in the market for a heavy/duty, long/lasting fan.
