This is the best fan Ive ever purchased. I need a fan to sleep. The noise level is perfect for me. I hate a quiet room. And the room is always cold at its highest setting! Does its job. Had it on a stand and now its mounted on the wall. Only thing Id say it, that when you adjust it on the wall it will leave a black ring. But that can be from user error. Just be careful with your wall. Other than that, this fan is the best.
I was surprised how good the electric motor is. It makes some noise but thats what more powerful fans compared to the plastic box fans do. It has a nice tube frame that sits well on the ground. Comes with a mounting bracket so you can mount it to the wall or ceiling and the control box can be removed from the frame to make it a little easier to make it part of a project. Im going to use it to replace the cheap plastic box frame in the dust filter I made in my small wood working shop. This fan is made so well I wont have to alter it at all. Just slide into the space Ill make for it in between the filter frames.

Its a FANnot horrible but its noticeable AGAIN a its a powerful fan keeping yourself sweaty humid body cooler!! Pretty sure the noise will fade away when your no longer annoyed at your own body sweat!
This fan is durable, versatile, has three settings, great/high air flow on those sticky hot summer days and nights. I live in a 2nd floor apt wit no shade, or cooling units and the only other fan we have is non existent. This is the only thing that got us through last summers heat waves. As well as this summer as well. I just need this fan, an ice cold drink and I end up having to turn it Trojan bee cause i get too chilled if I add anything else cooling (drink, wet bandanna, or even a water bottle for spritzing). I love the rotation angles for various air flow scenarios. I love the pedestal/metal mount design of its base. It has fallen, been knocked over, had a power surge hit it without it being protected and its still kicking! I even had my grandson drop a remote control into it as it was on huh (no one was hurt). But the fan and the blades were not effected in the least. I didnt need tools that I dont own to open it. It has secure metal clamps all the way around a the perimeter to open the fan to clean (or fetch remote controls) or do a quick dusting of. This is aming.
