I bought one of these to use outside at work as I am a carpenter. It works really well during the hot and humid season. I ended up buying a second one for at home. The only odd thing that has happened with both is that it hums on level 2. 1 and 3 are fine but 3 is a bit noisy. No complaint about that noise since it creates a hurricane inside our house!
The good news is it works great and is easy to carry for maximum portablity which is what i needed since I like to move it from my kitchen to my deck. It is not waterproof so cannot be left outside. The noise level even on low is too high. I didnt expect a quiet fan since it is high velocity but I have to shut it off if im on the phone even when phone is on speaker because and increase the tv volume when fan is on. Im thinking of moving it to my shed and buying a different type for my kitchen/deck. I do really like this fan though and got a great deal on Prime Day as it was marked down from 89.99 to 59.99 so it definitely was of good value.
I bought this fan used to save a little cash. Absolutely worth every penny. I love how much air it moves. If you are like me and have bad tinnitus from the military, this fan on low is perfect for drowning out that annoying ringing, and it will keep your bedroom cooler at night. 10/10. If I ever need another fan, I will buy this again!
I like this fan overall. It is powerful and was simple to assemble. However, I had visions that the remote control would be like it is for a TV, ya know, wireless. Its not wireless. Its just a speed control know that happens to attach to the base of the fan. I would not call that a remote control.
This is very powerful. It makes the noise a powerful fan makes—theres no way around a mechanical whirring sound with a powerful fan. This sucks air away so fast, its aming it cost less than 100.

Wish it had a Remote and wasnt as loud
