Ive used cheaper window box fans, and they move little air, and bushings seize up after about 2 years. This moves more air set on the lowest speed than the box fan did on high speed.
It has a handle and an adjustable base permitting it to be free standing and movable, or the base can be rotated and mounted to an included bracket.

I see where a lot of reviewers say the fan is loud. To me, its not. But, I am a retired building engineer and I have been around some LOUD fans and this one is pretty tame to me. Moves good air, feels well made, and can be mounted or put on the floor. Assembly is plug and play.easy. I felt the price was a tad high but your opinion may vary. Would buy it again if I needed one. In my garage, in the summer, its a must/have.
I knew before buying it that its loud and best suitable for an open space so i knew it would be loud. I use it in my bedroom. The first setting is good for a warm slightly breezy day and the third setting is for hot summer day. Sturdy and powerful air circulation.
