Ordered the safe and it showed up much sooner than expected. I wasnt able to mount it to the floor as Im in an apartment but I was able to anchor it to the wall/studs and its really nice and sturdy.
I added some adhesive backed rubber pads along the inner door trim which help to reduce noise when open and closing it and to reduce play in the door.
The safe is also DoJ approved so its a good option for people in states with common sense gun laws.
All in all Im happy with my purchase and it works great for my current situation.
I purchased this safe about a week ago. When I took delivery I noticed how well it was packed. They really put effort into making sure this safe was protected from any dings or scratches in the shipping process. I also really liked how easy it is to get set up. Creating your passcode is incredibly simple. You also get 2 keys to the main door and two keys for the secondary safe inside. This is a well made product that will insure that whatever you put inside it will be protected and secured. If you purchase this product you will not be disappointed.
I searched and searched for the right cabinet to keep my mini collection out of the hands of my kids yet easily accessible. This one came in perfect condition very well packaged, no scratches or dents. And kudos to the UPS guy who brought it up 2 flights of concrete stairs to my front door. I reviewed many of the pictures from prior reviews and added the shelf at the bottom with the help from my husband who cut the shelf to size. That would be my only complaint is it didnt already come with a shelf and they dont sell one separately. I added a motion detector light on the front of the safe so if needed I can see the key pad as it doesnt light up. Also added the motion detector light on the inside, plus magnets to hold my pistols and additional magnets on the side to organize the magazines by my 9mm and .380. Like all the other reviews stated, Alans customer service is real and legit. I reached out with some questions and he answered them within the day. He also sent me the free organizer for the door of my cabinet just had to reach out. Very pleased with the product and experience!
The safe met expectations. Not designed to stop a bomb blast, but meet my needs well, and will be a significant deterrent for any thief. Has both electronic numeric codes back up key. Once bolted to the floor wall, it is extremely sturdy.
The Moutec rifle safe is large and, most importantly, very secure. The optional door hanger provides additional flexibility for pistol and ammo storage. Very good value and customer service is excellent.
It is secured with pin lock or key lock so you can still open the safe with just the keys provided. I dont own MANY firearms but I still worry about safety or home defense, so this safe make sense for me. It is heavy enough that one person is not going to steal the safe easily. Make sure to bolt it to the wall so it doesnt fall.
Inner space wise it is good for most rifles and shotguns and some handguns in the small safe box inside. Very good safe to have inside your closet btw, then hide it with clothes :-)
Obviously not built for fire resistance, but a very solid choice for protecting your firearms. Well-built, durable, and sets up pretty much anywhere youd like.

Not to mention a customer service rep reached after I purchased the rifle safe and sent me a free door organizer that can hold up to 2 pistols, extra mags, and documents. Overall Im very happy with the purchase and I would recommend this to a friend.
