I would consider this more of a gun locker rather than a gun safe. It is not water resistant, nor is it fire resistant. It does however what it is advertised to do and it does lock up your fire arms. The product arrived undamaged and very well packaged and protected. I was able to secure it to both the floor and a stud in the wall and it is very secure. Im confident that most home thieves wouldnt be willing to spend the extra time it would take with tools to get this open while the home alarm is blaring. And thats fine by me. Some of the things that I added to the safe were padding to the floor underneath the carpet, a touch light on the ceiling of the inside of the locker, and a magazine holder onto the inside of the door. Overall, I am very pleased with what I got from the product and the price that I paid for it. Also, because it only weighs 80 to 90 pounds, it was very easy to manipulate and get into place.
I am pleased with my purchase of a Moutec Large Rifle Safe. Its dimensions provide ample interior space in both width and depth and has cushioned dividers to hold rifles in place. Very easy to set up. Good value and Im happy with my purchase.
The safe is a good value for the price. Im not sure how secure it would be for someone intent on breaking into it, but it keeps my firearms safe from the kids, which is what I needed.
The company also contacted me and offered me a complimentary door mount organizer. Excellent customer service!!!
