This safe was just what I needed - something to lock up my firearms and keep them away from my kids. The product came on time and was packaged very nicely, and the instructions to set it up were fairly straightforward to follow. The safe is not fire-resistant, so dont expect something like a Liberty. But for the price you pay, this is an excellent product. I look forward to using this product for many years to come.
Does the job, this is my first gun safe as I just started my gun collection. I quickly put grew it but its a fine sturdy gun safe made out of good quality material. Does the job and fits about 6 rifles. You definitely need to by a rack or shelf. The rack it comes with is very flimsy and doesnt fit all long rifle sizes.
At just 88 lbs., this Moutec Large Rifle Safe fit both my size need, as well as needed to keep its weight to a minimum due to my cargo trailers axles weight limitations. I ordered it Nov 22 it came from GA via FedEx who delivered it 11/30 in perfect condition, as is well packed with foam surrounding it, as well as hard plastic corner pieces, which was a relief. The only issue I had at all, was when you program your own code, you must end it with pressing either the A or B keys then whichever letter you choose, you must include it last each time you enter your code to unlock the safe. I e-mailed the Support team they promptly replied with a video which gave me this tip its been working perfectly since, so Im very happy with the product which fits my needs perfectly!
If you have reasonable expectations for this product, you should be pleased with your purchase.
What I mean is if youre looking for a fire-proof, highly burglar-proof gun safe, you need to be looking at something else, much more expensive. But, if youre looking for a cost-effective gun locker, this is worthy of consideration.
The listing says 5-6 rifle capacity. If your rifles have optics, then it will be a maximum of five... if not, you could maybe get a sixth one in there. But thats okay for me... exactly the size I needed.
The gun locker can stand on its own (as in not mounted to the wall or floor), but its most likely best to use the included bolts to secure it.
My order came in damaged... I contacted the seller... sent a photo... and they sent me a new replacement (and said dont bother shipping the first one back). They were quick to make good on the issue.
It would be nice if they had a shelf option for this safe, such as to put magazines on... but Alan said they didnt have anything
It works great... super strong magnet... a perfect addition to a great value gun locker!
You can see it attached below the lockbox in the photo. It can hold up to 12 AR platform magazines (loaded) with no problem. Add the shelf, along with the door organizer, a small motion sensor light and dehumidifier, and youre good to go!

Very sturdy safe for the money. I wanted a safe for my long guns that had a key pad with a key lock backup and this safe fit the bill. The additional lock box locked within the safe is a plus. Easily holds 6 long guns up to 50 long. Some people are complaining that it isnt as sturdy as a $2000 safe..... thats because it is a $300 safe.
Amazing gun safe! Perfect for keeping firearms out of the littles reach. Also it locks all the way around. Perfect for us and easily mounted to the wall!
Safe is great. Didnt get 5 stars because the inner safe rattles. It could have used a gasket to dampen the sound, but otherwise very happy. The batteries were weird, I have never seen that brand. Apparently they are just for test purposes
These are small nits. I deployed my own gasket to the inner safe.
The safe is large enough for multiple shotguns and ammo. The functionality is exactly as advertise.
