If you have reasonable expectations for this product, you should be pleased with your purchase.
What I mean is if youre looking for a fire-proof, highly burglar-proof gun safe, you need to be looking at something else, much more expensive. But, if youre looking for a cost-effective gun locker, this is worthy of consideration.
The listing says 5-6 rifle capacity. If your rifles have optics, then it will be a maximum of five... if not, you could maybe get a sixth one in there. But thats okay for me... exactly the size I needed.
The gun locker can stand on its own (as in not mounted to the wall or floor), but its most likely best to use the included bolts to secure it.
My order came in damaged... I contacted the seller... sent a photo... and they sent me a new replacement (and said dont bother shipping the first one back). They were quick to make good on the issue.
It would be nice if they had a shelf option for this safe, such as to put magazines on... but Alan said they didnt have anything
It works great... super strong magnet... a perfect addition to a great value gun locker!
You can see it attached below the lockbox in the photo. It can hold up to 12 AR platform magazines (loaded) with no problem. Add the shelf, along with the door organizer, a small motion sensor light and dehumidifier, and youre good to go!
Over all, Im very pleased with my gun locker... it gives me exactly what I was looking for. And regarding the seller... cant beat that service!
