I cut open a wall and buried most of it, and then used lag bolts to anchor it into the framing (used the two mounting holes on the bottom, and made my own holes on the left and right side walls. Did not use rear holes). Plastered back up to it, and am now building a hinged shelf to conceal it.

It was just what I needed. It came undamaged and was easy to operate. Bolting it to the wall was straightforward and it appears to be sturdy. Its obviously not a gun safe but it should provide the security that I was looking for.
The lockable box at the top was a nice extra. My two ARs and Mini-14, all with optics, fit fine.

I ordered this safe to store a few guns and other valuable items. When it arrived, on time, I was impressed with how well it had been packaged. Large heavy items often arrive with the boxes breaking down, leaving one to wonder if damage has occurred in shipping. Not the case with these safes!. Sturdy cardboard, the safe was surrounded on all sides with foam packing and all bound together to protect the contents. After unboxing, it was a pretty simple process to shift the safe into the desired location, ensure it was level, and mark the wall through the 3 mounting holes in order to secure it to the wall. I chose to attach to a wall stud, through sheet rock. Set up of the digital lock was easy using the provided instructions. Online registration was a snap! I had been contemplating a safe for years, glad I found this one and finally purchased.
This was a perfect safe for what I needed. Fairly sturdy, but not too heavy or cumbersome. Fit perfectly where needed. Keypad lock was simple to reprogram.
The safe is attractive and provides good safety for children. It is not likely to provide a lot of protection from a big fire, but that was not my concern. It was perfect for what I needed. The sellers customer service is really amazing and probably the best I have experienced buying through .
