Sturdy, good quality and fairly easy to assemble. We ordered the 10x10 and the coverage is great for this area of the patio. I would recommend this umbrella and base.
Mine is positioned on a raised deck with a railing and I have less than an inch of clearance to get this thing opened as I maneuver it around the house, railing and bar height table! I have to raise, rotate, raise some rotate some more and then finally up all of the way. If I ever have to put it down in an emergency due to a strong wind popping up I am screwed. Since the base is half on carpet and and half on composite decking, the huge plastic base filled with water does not keep it from sliding or rotating in the wind. I used a ratchet strap to secure it to the decking. The slightest breeze gets the umbrella juking and jiving. I expected it to be much more steady in a mild breeze. That said, at 12 square it is a big sail.
I bought the 11/foot square version. I installed it with the permanent steel/in/concrete base in my pool deck. So far, the umbrella seems like a quality item. I wouldnt leave it open in strong wind, but Ill be watching carefully so see how much wind it can take. A restaurant near me has about ten of the same exact umbrellas over outdoor tables. Theyre using the plastic bases which seem to work. I dont know what the restaurant staff would have to say.

Good customer service!
Had a problem with my umbrella, tried to fix it myself and was very willing to help.

quality product, all metal, nice design
I dont like the thin little supports for the second tier. We use it on our patio to cover a six place table. 11 x 11 is spectacular
