works like I need it. Ladder keeps loosening though. and the bottom mattress has lots of room to slide around so gets annoying after a while. Was a pain to assemble as if you didnt tighten things a certain way it was difficult to get pieces to sit the right way. Shakes and creaks with every little movement. Everything was there though and labeled clearly. It can carry the weight limit and doesnt collapse, so nothing to complain about.
This is a major project to put together. Hundreds of pieces. You are basically assembling the spring platforms piece by piece. Directions are not clear. We had many re/dos as we found that what we had previously put together was wrong. But when we finally got the thing assembled, it looks great, and seems OK sturdy / certainly appropriate for its price.

A few pieces were chipped and/or deformed on receipt, but I made it work.

Better labeling of the parts and direction (this side out or up) would have been helpful.
If they would have included a few extra screws of each type would have been nice as I stripped a few of them
I must say after reading reviews of bent parts, misaligned holes and missing items I had some concern but I went ahead with the purchase. Glad I did and I had, NO SUCH ISSUES. Nice item and works smoothly from sleep to couch and back again.
The package arrived with a minor ding and other normal shipping marks on the package / But it is heavy. I feel for those delivery people, oh my back.
Started by making sure with the wife that this was the agreed upon location. And of course after it was 3/4 assembled, the wife had changed her mind and wanted it relocated to another room. Oh m
I did count and label nuts, bolts on a paper plates then used a socket wrench with proper hex key, a rubber mallet (one connection was tight) and blue locktite to secure nuts.
Three weekends in a row we had family over and it got a work out. No noises/no rattles and everyone commented how nice it was, they seemed shocked that it was an purchase. Love it.
Set up and build even after relocation about 2 1/2 hours. Would I purchase again: Absolutely
Love the price. Top bunk is not too high as one we had a few years ago. Ladder is uncomfortable to climb but its not climbed often so thats okay. A great deal overall.

This bed is probably the safest on the market, very sturdy, solid steel parts, extra safe, and takes up minimal space. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great bunk bed for minimal cost. Most of the bunk beds in the stores around my home are 600+ and no where near as good of quality, IMO.
