No complaints about the fingerprint reader. Easy to setup and works well. Locking mechanism is a little off with the locking pins catching on the lip of safe when engaging. Need to forcefully close the door to avoid this issue. As noted in other reviews, the door is much more sturdy than the sides and back. Very front heavy and definitely need to be bolted to wall or floor. Overall does the job it was purchased for, and was easy to set/up and install. My son loves it!!
Awesome rifle safe
So far so good. I really like the safe. Its sturdy, simple and for the most part, very user friendly. The only reason Im giving it 4 instead of 5 stars is due to setup. The instructions were missing one key piece of information. In order to set your own code or fingerprint, you must leave the emergency key in place in the unlock position. If you dont, you wont be able to change the default 1234 password and fingerprint scanner will unlock with any persons fingerprint. It took me about 10 minutes to figure it out and I almost got a headache over it. Other than that, everything else is great. I hope I get many years out of this locker because I really enjoy having it. Very well made.

Has to order a door organizer. But other then that its a great safe for what you pay. Any issues support is fast to respond. Overall good.

I contacted support and had a response that night and received great customer service! Its quite surprising how good they were! This item is good! Satisfied.

I ordered my Moutec safe and admittedly did have a few issues with it. However, the Moutec customer service team is absolutely fantastic across the board in terms of response times and helpfulness.not to mention extremely accommodating. They were able to make everything right and now everything is perfect and Im very happy.
Regarding the safe itself, Im very pleased. The size is exactly what I was looking for and its thick enough to provide solid protection. While this obviously isnt a gigantic or super thick safe (and thats not what they are branding it as of course), this is perfect for my needs. The fingerprint reader works flawlessly, but I like the other two options of a numeric code and set of keys to unlock it as well. It has ample space to hold about 5 of my larger guns and the door organizer accessory is a must! Lastly, the built in lockbox at the top of the safe was a nice touch too where you can either store smaller handguns or ammo.
Overall, I would recommend this safe to anyone reading this and in the off/chance you happen to come across any sort of issue with your experience, have 100 confidence in the fact that their customer service is everything you could hope for as they will take care of you promptly. Great!
This is a great rifle safe. It came extremely well packed as to prevent any damage during shipping. It is the perfect size to hide in our walk in closet. It will be perfect for my small collection. With the addition of the top locked box, which will be great for important documentation/ passports. The fingerprint reader works FLAWLESSLY!!! Make sure you scan more than one of your own prints. Key pad works great as well. ZERO ISSUES ! If you are thinking about purchasing a budget friendly rifle save do not think twice about buying it. SO WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR ! JUST GET IT !! Good quality.

This is a GREAT safe for the fingerprint is a little finickyLooks cool and will keep kids out, but not a crowbar. Value for money.

Great safe! It was easy to attach to the wall and is very sturdy. Easy to program the code and fingerprints. works great.
