More sturdy than most of the other ones I looked at

Solid quality. I looked forever for bunk beds for my girls. A million furniture stores, and all of em seemed flimsy. This is is really really solid. More sturdy than most of the other ones I looked at. Not completely solid, but close enough. The ladder came all broke, but the company was great to send another one up in here. Little spendy, but you get what you pay for. Nahimsayin

    REALLY GREAT!!

This Full over Full was SURPRISINGLY FANTASTIC!!!! I cant believe I bought a bed online! I put it together by myself in about 3 hours (only getting help lifting the top bunk into place.) The directions were great, and they gave extra hardware at each step in case something was missing (nice.) The paint job was not absolutely perfect, so in some cases I had to choose between which pieces would be most visible in the room (Im a perfectionist.) Also, heres the BEST part -- the rails on the top are able to be lifted off for easily putting sheets on the top mattress -- game changer! Also, there is plenty of head space if you are sleeping on the lower bunk. Like the other mom said, Totally get this bed!

Solid and not too difficult to assemble!

Assembly wasnt nearly as time consuming as I thought considering it came in several boxes. What we like best about the bed is that it is made of solid wood not particle board. The finish is very nice too. Just make sure that you have somebody assist you when you place the upper bunk atop the lower bed.

    We love this bunk bed

We love this bunk bed. It is very sturdy, good quality, and stable. My husband who is 200 lbs lays on the beds with our girls and has no issue. We compared to higher end bunks like Pottery Barn, Restiration Hardware, and other furniture stores - and this one is fantastic comparison for the price.

    Main rail cracked in half!

This bed was great for three years until the MAIN RAIL CRACKED IN HALF! I was just shifting my weight (I weight 160 lbs) when it happened. No one was hurt, but this is a serious manufacturing flaw. Pictures attached.

    Great Purchase!

Very solid wood bed. Arrived on time and all pieces were in great condition. Loved that I could pick the ship date during checkout. Easy to assemble by a Mother and Grandmother! Only ran into a couple problems (a couple holes that were only partially drilled and front top rail rested on a slat). We had to make minor adjustments. Otherwise, very pleased. I had done a lot of research prior to this purchase and am glad I chose this double bunk bed.

This bunkbed is GREAT - here is what I have learned after 6 months of use....

I write reviews - a lot of reviews. But I only write reviews for products I feel strongly about (positively or negatively) so that I can hopefully assist others from my experiences. I bought this bunkbed 6 months ago for my 4 year old twins (in white) and have been waiting to have some clear cut pros and cons before I wrote my review for this bunkbed. But here is the deal - this is going to be a very boring review - and the reason? This is a great bunkbed!!!! - It wasnt too difficult to assemble - it probably took my husband and I around 1.5 hours. - It is solid! An adult would feel comfortable sleeping in this bunkbed - this thing is meant to last - there is nothing flimsy about it! - The drawers are smooth and I have had no issue with them on either floor or carpet. - I like that it can be separated into beds and the ladder can either be on the right or left side. - And it looks good!! There is nothing cheap looking or feeling about it! The only cons I can think of is that the guard railing for the top bunk does not solidly connect, so there is a little play and it does wobble a bit. But that is one of the few parts that is not permanent (e.g., later it will be removed). And it will absolutely keep my kid from falling off the bed - so it does what it is meant to do. I just needed to find at least one con! Oh, and one other note, when I was putting the bed together I noticed gray marks all over the new white surface and couldnt figure out why... It was my wedding band - for some reason it left a mark, but cleaned off easily. So if you see strange gray marks, it may be from something metal like a wedding band. Other than that - this bed is GREAT and we have no regrets buying it! (On a side note, I went to and bought picture frame shelves - so they are narrow in width and have a little ledge to keep the frames on the shelf. They come in a shorter and longer length. I put the shorter length above the head part of the wall and the longer length over the wider part and it is a great place for kids to put small items. They are perfect because the shelves are narrow and they have a protective ledge to keep things from falling off. Basically it allows the kids to personalize their space and they love it.) I will update if anything should change, but in the meantime I would absolutely recommend this bed! UPDATE: We have now had this bed for over 2 years. It still looks great, it is still absolutely sturdy, it has no problems or issues - and I still absolutely recommend this bed!!
