This bunk bed is solid. Definitely will handle anything my 8 and 5 year old could possibly do to it. It wasnt even that difficult to put together. However, a couple of tips...1) Use two people. Assembly time will go far faster and cause far less frustration. 2) Do your hands a favor and use a drill with a hex bit. Youll get arthritis half way through using an Allen wrench.
We bought this bed for our toddler boys. We put a mattress under it on the floor so its utilized as bunk beds only shorter than normal bunk beds. I felt this was a safer option for little boys yet it works in their tiny room. They love their big boy bed. It did have a few paint chips and some of the paint is very thin so you can see the wood but for the price and the option of having a slide and stairs we are pleased.
Bed is pretty sturdy, comes together like any other bed except for the screws for the slide which were so hard to turn with the Allen key that it stripped the key and made it impossible to completely tighten;
Builder beware but other than that its pretty good;
Slide is kinda steep and doesnt really line up with the height of the matress which is a want but not a need .
Overall, great value for money. My son absolutely loves it. You can tell the quality is ok. There was a crack on one of the stair railings. See pictures above. This took me 4 hours to assemble. But directions were pretty easy to follow.
We are really happy with these beds. We are using them as twin beds and got the extra set of drawers so each kid has his own storage under his own bed. Its such a great use of space; the drawers hold so much, they glide smoothly, everything looks high quality and has held up great over the past few months.
We havent tried the bunk configuration yet so cant comment on that. It took me forever to find a convertible bunk bed that sold an extra set of drawers and Im so glad we found these. They are sturdy and attractive.
The only thing I dont love is that you can see the drawers from the foot of the bed; they only take up half the width of the bed so theres a weird profile. A simple panel would have fixed that.
Awesome bunk beds! Got these for my girls new room together. Theyre extremely sturdy and seem very well made. My husband even gets up top sometimes and they dont budge. They were very simple to assemble. My only complaint and the reason I took off a star is the top bunk headboard had a piece of wood that was broken. We tried calling company and theyre closed due to COVID so have to wait until they reopen to get a replacement part. We had to just go ahead and assemble the bed because my kids wouldnt have had a place to sleep otherwise, but it will be a pain to get that part sent eventually, dismantle part of the bed and put it back together. Not looking forward to that! I did contact and they gave us a discount which I greatly appreciated. So now just have to wait for the part. Its been about two months now though and all is well with the bunks. My girls are obsessed with them and are on them all the time!! Theyre also beautiful and are the centerpiece in their room now. Overall great product and would recommend!!

Strong, sturdy set. Gave it only 4 stars due to the drawers not having any type of guide so they dont go in too far or crooked.

Easy enough to assemble, seems pretty sturdy. Only thing is some small dents and nicks from shipping but its not a huge deal.
