It was fairly simple to put together. A few times the instructions got confusing- like on the roof.
But its very sturdy. Im a bigger lady and Ive gotten onto the top bunk before.
Would recommend !
The bed is AWESOME but the assembly was a special kind of heckin nightmare. I mean, if you like to rage and punch walls then this might be for you. Or, alternatively, if you enjoy torturing yourself with furniture level assembly, but on steroids, get you some. My kids named it Fort Butth0le though, so it was worth my soul dying a little inside.
Whew - this was a challenge to put together. It was very heavy, and I had 2 helpers. I got two of them so that I could create a private space for each of my twin boys (who need to be near each other, but always fight). I set up the bottom as a bed, and on the top I put down the slats and covered it with plywood to create a platform for sitting and playing (I call it the loft). With 2 helpers, it took 3 hours to put together the first one, and 1.5 hours for the second one - so you can tell how much of a learning experience it is. There was only one place (different place on each one) where the holes has to be redrilled, but that wasnt a problem. The fabric windows are very good looking, and I ended up hanging them with hooks, rather than use the velcro. I would consider these very strong. Tons of metal bolts - and very long. The instructions were pretty clear, and all of the parts were there. An electric drill with hex bit is necessary(I cant emphasize this enough). I would definitely buy these again - but hopefully I dont need to. Beautiful!
This bunk bed is beautifully built and very sturdy. We have a 44lb 7 yr old on top and a 32 lb 3 yr old on bottom. They both have laid in the top bunk with no issues as far as stability and sturdiness. They both get excited for bedtime and love being in their room with the bunk bed. The curtains are held up by pieces of peel and stick Velcro so you can configure the curtains however you like and add more simply by using additional fabric and Velcro. The style of the bunk bed adds a cabin vibe to the room which is perfect as we are decorating with a mountain theme in mind. Great product!
well labeled for assembly. buy the hex bit for your drill or it will take extra HOURS to assemble with included hex wrench. Grandkids love it. The included tent really makes it cool!!

Kids love it!
Easy to put together for someone whos mechanically inclined. May be difficult or take longer for someone who isnt. Overall, its a great bunk bed.
Awesome, but expect assembly to make you want to scream
