All of the pieces were clearly marked and matched the assembly instructions. This is not a quick chair to assemble, you must carefully read and follow the instructions. You are basically assembling three separate sections into one complete chair.
I primed and painted all parts with good quality exterior paint and fully expect this chair to look good and last many years.
The list of tools required for assembly is accurate.
I recommend this chair to my friends and will probably buy another.
I ordered these for a new cabin I purchased there is a stream on the property and dozens of great spots to sit and relax. I love the look and comfort of adirondack chairs, but they are usually so heavy. Plastic is not an option for me ever. So I took a chance on these. A bit tricky to put together, just time consuming mostly but they are really great. Sturdy, fold easily, lightweight If you can lay all the parts out it makes the assembly go quicker. I ordered two more after loving the first four I purchased.
I put 4 of these chairs together withan electric drill. It took a few hours but it was simple and easy. A power drill is a must. I find the chairs to be very sturdy side to side unlike what I saw in a customer video. They do have a little give when you first sit down from front to back due to their foldability. It is not a structural issue. They are good basic Adirondack chairs, we have three different brands now and these are very good for the price.
I bought these chairs back in 2014 and have had them through two military moves and all kinds of climate from ice in North Carolina, to freezing winters in upstate New York where they got buried in snow, and now in the full sun and heat of Florida they by far have been the best patio furniture weve owned. They have outlived any other patio furniture we have acquired along the way. Well worth the price!! Easy to assemble. Easy to fold and move. Durable! Will be buying more furniture in the future.
I bought 2. Assembled 1 and 1 arm piece cracked. Am going to put most of the second one together before I request a replacement part. Its very comfortable and super nice that it folds up perfectly. Im very happy. I would recommend.

If youre looking for a perfect finish, dont want to sand a little, and cant spare assembly time, get a 300 plastic one . If you want a nice, WOODEN chair that FOLDS, you can get 34 of these for the same price!
Theyre comfortable sturdy, went together easily (used a drill for the screws, the included wrench for the nuts). In four chairs, I had no problems getting things aligned, but do build them in good light; the alignment dimples can be hard to see. About 60mins/chair to assemble. Maintain your sanity, and tighten nothing till complete (as the instructions recommend).
No, they arent perfect. There are spots of wood filler. The finish isnt my first choice. I used nylon sanding pads on some rough spots, and will probably coat them all with outdoor sealer. Could easily be painted. This was all expected, not a problem for me, at this price for WOODEN FOLDING Adirondack chairs!
Net: Better than Id hoped for when ordering.
