Spent quite a while looking locally and online for Adirondack chairs that wouldnt cost me my entire retirement savings. The prices!
If youre looking for a perfect finish, dont want to sand a little, and cant spare assembly time, get a 300 plastic one . If you want a nice, WOODEN chair that FOLDS, you can get 34 of these for the same price!
Theyre comfortable sturdy, went together easily (used a drill for the screws, the included wrench for the nuts). In four chairs, I had no problems getting things aligned, but do build them in good light; the alignment dimples can be hard to see. About 60mins/chair to assemble. Maintain your sanity, and tighten nothing till complete (as the instructions recommend).
No, they arent perfect. There are spots of wood filler. The finish isnt my first choice. I used nylon sanding pads on some rough spots, and will probably coat them all with outdoor sealer. Could easily be painted. This was all expected, not a problem for me, at this price for WOODEN FOLDING Adirondack chairs!
