I bought this after being so frustrated with a stork craft glider that was too narrow and arm rests too high to be comfortable for adjusting a breast feeding . This is perfect, A little stiff and the rock is pretty slight but it is perfect for nursing and reading books at night. Low arm rests and high back make it comfy, as for width easily fits grown adult and child

We have it on hardwood and it is a little clunky when rocking, but putting it on a carpet might make it too hard to rock at all. Looks beautiful in our bedroom and we look forward to using it with our twins! It is definitely wide enough for two adults or one adult and two children.
I purchased this as a chair for our babies nursery so that my 3 year old or my husband could sit with me while I nursed our , it is perfect. The quality is good and putting it together was pretty easy. The only thing I would warn you about is the size, I didn t pay attention to the measurements when I ordered it, but it takes up a good part of the room which isn t very big to start with. It all worked out though after a little bit of rearranging in the nursery.

For some reason I thought it was just the rockers that needed to be attached but you actually have to assemble the sides to the top and the bottom as well. It s not difficult, very similar to furniture in that everything uses the supplied Allen Wrench. The arms are basically fabric covering wood frame but the chair itself and the back are padded so overall the chair is comfortable. It s not as high quality as it looked in photos but I can t find another option. I don t know what the long term wear of the rocker will be but for the basic purposes of rocking my son and daughter to sleep, it s fine.

I was also hoping for a chair that could transition into another room once we didn t need it in the nursery and this totally fit the bill. I ll admit it doesn t move like a glider, but gliders get so squeaky that I hated the one we had with our first child. In order to increase the rocking motion, I ll be putting an office chair mat under the rocker (but I figure that can potentially help with catching any spills as well). As for the assembly, I m 6 months pregnant and did it by myself in about 45 minutes. The trick seems to be (as with most furniture assembly) to not completely tighten any screws until you ve got the whole thing together. Everything lines up much better that way and then you can tighten it all down.
