Our chair came in the mail today and although I was a little skeptical about ordering a cushioned chair online I m glad I did! For the price this chair is well constructed, easy to assemble (mine came with directions though), and fairly true to color depending on the lighting (brighter=more greyish, darker=more taupish). It does rock, but not continuously. What I mean is that you will need to propel the chair in some way to keep it rocking. We also got the matching ottoman so that gives me something to put my feet on to continuously move the chair. If you re looking for something that will continue to move well after you prompt it this is probably not the piece of furniture for you. The ottoman is also fairly lightweight which is nice because you move it often so it s convenient that it s not 100lbs. I feel like all the seams are wells constructed, padding is not plush but is comfortable and you can definitely fit two skinny adult butts on it . The seat back is erect so pillows are a welcome addition if you need lower back support. Not sure how it will hold up over time, but I m incredibly pleased about the purchase and quality for the price point.
This is a beautiful chair. I had to send it back because I needed something that would rock on carpet and this chair is not a big rocker when you put it in carpet. It moves but not much. I love the size and look. Was fairly easy to put together and felt like it was good quality. Color looks same as it does on the photo. I gave it 4 stars because of the rocking factor but if you are looking for something that only rocks slightly it will work great.
Update: with renovations finished on the nursery room I was finally able to place it in the room with the rest of the items purchased. It is most definitely taupe in color. Kind of disappointing but it s my own fault since it is advertised as taupe. The chair itself I am very pleased with still. I just wish they had a gray color.

It is definitely a combination of gray and taupe but will work with the gray color scheme as long as items aren t too classic gray (if that makes sense). Assembly was pretty painless and the chair with matching ottoman looks great. My nursery isn t complete and hasn t arrived yet so I haven t had a chance to use it for that purpose but I have sat in it tandem with my husband and little dog and there is a good amount of room for two comfortably. It has a decent rock, but nothing out of control. It is very comfortable and I like the idea the high back to prevent me from falling into a too deep sleep with in my arms. The style and size works well for a nursery, as well as if you have a toddler for story time. It also fits well into my living room space currently while nursery renovations are underway without looking like a classic nursery rocker/glider. Overall it was a great purchase.
My husband and I bought this rocker so we could both rock the together. He was able to assemble it, but we took away 1 star because the rocker did not come with instructions on how to do so. Our nursery is nautical theme, and we are able to decorate the chair with accent blankets / pillows very easily to add punches of color.

It s the perfect rocking chair for our nursery; easy for us both to sit in it with a on our laps, or comfy for one of us to sit on with the girls on either side. Great for nursing too! It s soft; was easy to assemble; and rocks nicely on the hard wood and the rug we have it on. I would buy this chair again in a heartbeat. In addition, it s plain beautiful and classy! By the way, the picture makes the chair look short, but while sitting, I can lean my head back and it rests nicely on the seatback. (I m 5 8)
Looks great. Rocks okay. It works for what I needed which is a place to read with my three kids and a place to nurse, but I m not sure it will rock very hard. If you are looking for a rocker, a true glider may be needed.
I bought this chair to put in my 2 year old s room since I was moving our single rocker into our newborn s room. I wanted something that was wide enough to fit my son and me plus the new comfortably. The chair is definitely spacious enough for this. It s a tight squeeze but we can fit an additional adult in the chair. The seat cushion and back is comfortable. The chair really doesn t rock on carpet, as stated in the other reviews, so if you want a chair that rocks, do not buy this chair. I took off one star because the fabric is very thin and is not tight to the cushions so it looks a little sloppy. However, at this price point I don t think you will find anything better. Overall I am happy with this purchase and if I had to do it all over I would buy it again. I hope you find this review helpful.
