This required about 20 minutes to assemble by myself and wasnt too difficult. The quality of the materials seems very high with the exception of the leather, but I expected that in this price range. It isnt bad, it just feels thin. I love how tall the chair sets. Im 64 and have no complaints. Only one day of use so far.
The box it is shipped in was torn in several places on arrival. I was sure the chair would be damaged but turned out to be ok. The parts are well wrapped.
The chair is very comfortable, moves easily, and adjusts quickly. It is somewhat difficult to draw it close to my desk as the handles strike the desk . It was not easy to put together, although I did manage it by myself. Help, though, would have been appreciated.
After I had it for a few days, it appeared that a spring was attempting to come through the leather on the seat. I contacted the company that developed the order, and after several rounds of emails, they sent a brand new seat. Excellent customer relations.
Sturdy chair, padding is adequate.
The adjustable lumbar support is a bit archaic perhaps. The knob just pushes what feels like a plastic bump (in a mound or mountain shape, the peak being where your spine is) out in the lumbar area of the chair, at varying levels. At full resistance I found the lumbar area to be uncomfortable, as though I was being poked in the back, so I just dialed it back. But for those who were suspicious, it does indeed to something.
Tilt lock could have the chair go a bit further back for my taste, but with a foot rest it passes.
This is a decent chair, but the back is NOT very tall. It comes up to my shoulders and I am 6. I wanted a high back with head support, I like to lean back while on the phone at my desk. If you are tall, the seat does raise quite high. I ended up giving this chair to one of my taller employees and ordering a different chair with a true high back.

I really enjoy the chair. It definitely is solid enough to hold my hulking mass of 338 lbs. I do wish the lumbar support was a bit more adjustable.
