Same bunk, different seller at WalMart for 179

Identical to the Better Homes and Gardens Leighton twin (available at WalMart) for 179. Great bunk. Use a drill to get those hex screws good and tight. Bed is solid, doesnt budge.

    Solid wood bunk set

Well made, all/wood bunk bed. This thing is a really nice solid bed, good room between beds when stacked as well. Its a bit of work to put together but only because its so solid, nice big screws and bolts that dig deep into the wooden parts. I have made a few bunks in my dad days and this is the best so far. My only concern might be the slats are quite spaced ( only 7 on each) but Ill give it a few nights and see if the kids complain. Arrived with some very minor dings but nothing Im concerned about, the box it comes in is well packed (and heavy!). Recommend this to anyone looking for a good solid set of twins. Oh also, if you configure for bunk beds you need to unscrew the ladder Not the easiest thing but prefer it anyway. I had no problem assembling with occasional help to hold pieces together while a bolted them in.

Great bed, be mindful of paint quality

Reasonably easy to build. I read several other reviews before purchase and agree on a few points. 1. A allan key drill bit and a drill gun will save you some blisters and an extra hour of work. I powered through with the tools provided but sorely missed being able to use my power tools. Perhaps the company could provide one? 2. Some complained about the quality of the paint finish. Ours is white but I can see a little bit of the wood grain where the paint is thinner. Its not an issue in white but I can see how this would be an issue for the grey or other darker finishes so be advised. The white is easy to scuff too so if I had more time and patience, I would have coated with polycrylic spray. I had one board that has a 2/3 inches gash that was painted over but decided to keep as is because that board was wall facing.

    Pretty easy to build

Pretty easy to build. Some parts arrived dented or not the right size. Wood planks for underneath mattress that need to be screwed in are either way too tight of a fit or way short in length so you have to be really careful to make sure when you go in with the screw it actually goes into the wood below it. Otherwise its a very nice bunk bed set.

I was surprised by the quality of this bed. Yes, its light duty, but its for kids, not adults. Overall this bed has exceeded expectations.

Nice bed but the only problem it has is its matress support bars. They feel to be not strong enough to last long you feel they bounce when kids sleep on it.

Very good. When I purchase I saw people review that need to buy extra sticks. However I didnt. Those 7 of them just work ok for me as an adult. The only thing is the wood have a little smells of you purchase on summer will not be a problem.

    Good quality for the price

Good quality for the price. It looks nice. The wood cracked a bit when my husband put the ladder on.
