Pay for what you get... For the price it is a good deal..nothing was damaged and had all the hardware.. Wish it was a little more off the ground but other than that so far so good
I was excited to receive my bunk bed combo for my children. The price looked right, prime and had some positive reviews so I didn’t think I could go wrong! One hour after placing my order I realized I ordered the wrong color. I immediately contacted CS and I spoke two employees, and both told me the transaction/order was irreversible. That I had to wait for the order to ship, reject the shipment, wait for credit and place a new order. Meanwhile, my kids are without a bed and I wasn’t going to make my kids wait any longer for a color change- not impressed with the CS!
After 8 days, my order finally arrived. 106lb mangled box, with beat up parts and missing hardware. While the instructions seemed to be straight forward and decently put together. The quality of the wood and ‘paint job’ was not impressing. Some holes had to be redrilled, I had two pieces that had a hole right where a knot in the wood (could tell that there was a void that they filled) was so the parts split immediately. Let me take a step back. Missing hardware. Wood splitting. Color of wood showing through the paint (not enough paint was used for some parts).
There is so way I’m going to take it all apart and attempt to put it back in the mangled box. I’m missing the vital hardware to stack the beds (heavy metal dowels). So I ran to the nearest hardware store, bought a stick with the same diameter and cut it myself. Overall, not impressed with this whole experience. I will be buying furniture locally from now on.
This is perfect for my littles. It’s low to the ground so not only do I not have to worry about my youngest rolling out and hurting himself but I can also kiss my oldest goodnight without struggling. It was well labeled and the directions made it easy to assemble. We used a drill gun since a lot of pieces require an Allen wrench and it only took about an hour to knock out. Very happy with this selection.
The bed is very awesome my kids love it but the only problem is as I seen on other views is there was some dents and I noticed some spray paint to cover up some things cause the spray paint was more white then the bed itself but thats all but other then that I do love the bed
Perfect for my girls! When looking for younger kid friendly bunks I knew I wanted low height ones in case the top sleeper was ever to fall and these did not disappoint! It is a very beautiful sturdy white bunk. Assembly took about 2 hours but was very easy. All of our pieces were in perfect shape. After reading reviews I was scared to purchase because of comments saying easy denting or not sturdy especially when it came to the top bunks railing but I had no such problems. My only complaint is it did take a couple days for a strong chemical type smell to go away and I was afraid I might have to return but by day 2 it was gone and now I have no complaints!!!
I am a 230lb 510 man, I have slept in this bed nightly for over 2yrs, I sleep well and the bed is 100%. I assembled it myself, it is rather light-weight wood (pine?) and uses the current day cheap-O fasteners (some kind of bolt threaded drum thing) but the fit of the joints was excellent, so I used P2000 construction adhesive on ALL joints except those allowing the bed to be separated into-two beds. I have even climbed into the top bunk with my 5yo son to read him bedtime stories dozens of times and it hasn’t complained, not one squeak. I attribute the bed’s success to the adhesive. A full grown man could regularly use the top bunk but I would advise adding 1x6’s between the included 1x3’s…. such use is at the limit of their strength when you’re “climbing-in”. Mattress arrives rolled-up and is surprisingly comfortable.
Update almost three years later-
Added photos of the beds bunked. I love that these are lower than standard bunk beds as the bottom bed is on the floor. I feel exactly the same about them now as I did when I bought them. We’ll use these until they fall apart. Also, would recommend a bunkie board or something similar for comfort. Both could use it but definitely the top.
Original review-
This bed is exactly what would be expected of a bunk/two twin beds for the price. They look nice and serve their purpose with success. The wood is soft and easily dented. Assembly process was a breeze. It took about 2-3 hours to assemble. Instructions easy to follow. I love that these beds can be used separately or stacked for bunks. If you are able to afford a higher quality bed and looking for something more durable then I would expand your search. If you’re looking for two beds or a bunk on a tight budget then I would look no further.

Missing Hardware | Scratched Parts | Thin layer of paint (see wood) | Wood splitting

Awesome choice. High quality great price
Easy directions! Put it together while my 2 and 4 and 6 year old were “helping”. It was great.
