We purchased this bed for our 4yr old and 1yr old to share. The bed turned out as expected and pictured. The wood is pine and came with a few dents and scratches on the ladder and foot boards (nothing major). The color is definitely not a true white, more like a cream or ivory color so it is a little off color to their existing dressers we have. The support boards underneath each bed werent the strongest and although our kids are less than 50 pounds, we still placed a piece of plywood on the support boards before the mattress was laid down to give it some extra support in case they decide to jump or bounce on the bed. The assembly was quite easy, my husband installed in about 2 hours total (TIP: He ended up cutting the Allan wrench tool in half and using it with his drill as a bit to make assembly super quick and easy). If you dont do this and use the wrench by hand, I could see assembly taking a long, long time.
Overall it’s okay but the instructions were difficult to follow as they were ikea pic style, offering limited direction. Once you get past that you will want to add some plywood over the cheap slats and also get thin mattresses or the lower bunk is only going to work for a toddler or very small child.
This was the perfect bunk bed. I have another one that I bought a few years back and after getting this one I realized what I was missing. I’m 5’3” and I can actually sit up on the bottom bunk. As long as you use 6” mattress.
Excellent quality, sturdy and strong bed, perfect space-saver furniture for our kids! However, we needed to use a round wood file for the pre-drilled holes so that the bolts could align. Kids love it!

It is very sturdy, but is not super bulky. The instructions were pretty easy to follow, and overall not to complicated. Very pleased with this bed and recommend it!
Lightweight wood, looks good, like that it’s easy to turn into two beds however half of the hardware was missing and one of the slate cane damaged. When the manufacturer was contacted they said they couldn’t ship the hardware until December!!! That’s 3 months away! Poorly run company. We can’t wait that long for only half the bunk to be assembled. They should have a quality control department that actually checks what’s going out to customers! Wouldn’t buy again.

Its exactly what we needed! Starts on the floor and not too much taller than a standard bunk bed.
You get what you pay for.
You definitely get what you pay for. A lot of the wood had dents in them. Assembly is very simple though so I was thankful for that.
