Arrived missing parts. Does NOT have any lock for the various positions; it relies entirely on friction with the bottom plates. So if you have a thick, stiff mattress like ours it will not stay in a sofa position unless you sit on it to apply pressure down. As soon as you stand up, the pressure from the mattress overcomes the friction at the bottom and it slides out to a bed. Very annoying.
I loved how it is solid wood. It does take two people to put it together. Easiest futton frame I have ever had to fold down into the bed without fiting it to go down.
Sturdy and easy to put together. This futon is absolutely beautiful. I dont see it breaking for a long time either. It matches my log cabin very well. It only took me about an hour and a half to put together. Such good quality. Not sure you can get this quality at this price point anywhere else

At first glance it looks like it will take forever to assemble. If you lay out all the pieces its a piece of cake to assemble.
It is make of sturdy wood with excellent construction. We use ours on our boat, it fits perfectly and the size is perfect.
I love the look and feel of this couch. Color of fabric is true to images, feel is soft. Seat is very firm. Assembly was a challenge. Took two people and several steps were challenging to get into place securely. Though side pieces were missing, they are under black flap underside of seat piece. After I got it all put together I noticed it still wasn’t put together solidly on one side.
I do love the piece and can’t wait to sit on it as soon as I take it apart and fix the assembly on side so it is secure
I would have paid extra to have someone else put together

One suggestion : add support legs to the other side of the queen frame as well. Just too much overhang of a larger person is sleeping on that side. My husband added a pair and is significantly more sturdy. Thank you
This couch is so beautiful and went better than imagined with my bohemian style living room. There was an issue with one of the parts but they handled it quickly and kindly. I definitely recommend it if you are looking for nice-looking convertible couch. Very firm so not best for sleeping regularly. It’s my favorite thing to rest on after a long day!
