Ive had the safe for several weeks now. It arrived on time and was easy to mount to the wall. The pre/drilled holes did not quite match my wall studs but I was able to drill additional mounting holes easy enough.
Once mounted to the wall, the initial configuration to capture my fingerprint was simple and took on the first try.
Accessing the safe is easy as well. The fingerprint reader does work quickly and has been reliable so far. Worth it! She loves it.
This gun safe (by Moutec) has good design and sturdy construction. It functions well too. I feel quite satisfied with both value and quality. Furthermore I would buy one again and I can definitely recommend it to others. Good.
The safe was well packaged, box was beat up, but not a mark or ding on the safe. It was easy to mount to the wall and floor and has plenty of room inside. I am very happy with the size, looks, and operation of the safe. It appears very well built. Perfect.
I wasnt sure what type of safe to purchase.one like this one or a much heavier safe that someone would have needed to deliver and install. Im glad I chose this one. This is perfect for a small place such as an apartment or keeping in a man cave. It has some weight to it so even if someone did want to walk off with it they couldnt without some type of fore knowledge of the safe and a plan. Especially if you mount it to the wall like I did. This thing is going no where unless they cut out the wall to go with it. It is top heavy so securing to the wall is a good idea.
The finger print reader was very easy to set up as well as entering a code. You can turn the sound off by entering 3 then enter on the face of the dial. I have had this safe for almost one month now and have not had to setup the finger print reader or a new code since first installation. The finger print reader has been flawless reading my thumb very quickly and the first time every time. I took a little advise from other reviewers and added motion sensing lights to the inside. They are magnetic so no worries about using double sided tape or anything similar. They light up the safe and the little cabinet at the top very well.
The safe arrived in only a few days after ordering it. I wasnt expecting it for another week when it was dropped off at my front door. There was slight damage to the box due to shipping. I thought it was normal due to the weight involved. Thanks to really good packing, there was no damage to the safe, not even a scratch. The price was good and customer support was fantastic. I received a card with the safe to email them and they sent me the door organizer for free just for contacting them. I now have multiple long guns and hand guns plus magines nice and organized in one place. I have showed a couple of friends who were impressed with the design and quality of this safe.
If you dont want to fork out a bunch of money for a very heavy safe that someone needs to use a machine to install, then look no further than this one. If you live in an apartment or need something smaller for a bedroom or man cave, this is the safe to get. Love it!

Plus it comes with an emergency battery backupOnly thing i found that could be a negative to some is that the safe should be secured to the wall. But this safe comes with the mounting hardware so thats not a problem If not mounted, when door is open it can tilt and fall towards you. I did mount it and is very sturdy. Overall its a great safe and well worth the price. Better than expected.

Only quirk is sometimes the fingerprint reader requires me to scan finger twice to open safe. Works great.
