The most comfortable chair Ive owned, working from home this is a huge upgrade from what I had. The adjustable lumbar support was a great extra that I didnt know about until putting it together.
Beware of the instructions, there is an L shaped bracket attached to the back rest that gets screwed onto the bottom rest. The instructions clearly indicate that there are holes in the bottom bracket that line up with the L shaped brack / THIS IS NOT TRUE.
I had to unscrew two of the fastenings from the seat adjuster to get the l/shaped bracket screwed on first, then re/screwed the seat adjuster OVER the L/shaped bracket. Super jankey but it worked like a charm. Also getting the second arm rest to line up both holes was a major chore but I forced it into place with sheer willpower.
Worth it if you can get it assembled. Good luck.
This chair is holding up well. I bought it as a Christmas present for my 65, 300 lb. son to use. The upholstery and mechanical parts are holding up well so far after 9 months, and I hope he gets many years of use from it. The chair fits him well, and is comfortable to sit in for at least 2/3 hours at a time.
Although this chair is comfortable and I love the way it tilts, it was hard to put together. The screw holes just did not line up smoothly/had to pull and push to get the screw holes in the arm rest to line up with the screw holes in the body of the chair so as to accept the screws.
This is a very comfy chair, the leather is soft and it provides good support. I am 6 1 and 250 lbs and the chair fits just right. I recommend switching out the casters for the roller blade office casters sold on , great for hard wood floors and carpet.
The shipping box arrived torn, rip and partially crushed. I was hesitant to accept but I was desperate and took a chance. Sure enough, a couple of scratches and one tiny (about 1/4 inch) rip on the side. Didnt feel like fighting the battle of whos at fault. Note to shipper / Demand better handling of your products and a stronger better built box from manufacturer.
