Buy it! What are you waiting for? It looks really good, but hasnt gotten any use yet so Ill update after it gets used. I put it together by myself and it was pretty easy, although there was a little swearing involved with a couple of the steps. Those steps, like attaching the back to the base frame, would have been easier with two people. But I did get it done by myself and its solid. Trundle rolls really easy, but its not on a guided track so you might have to monkey it a bit too get it back under the daybed. I bought two 8 inch twin mattresses and they fit. I do have to keep the door to that room closed because the cat thinks that the space between the trundle and the bottom of the daybed is the perfect space to lie in wait to surprise the dog.
This is a very pretty day bed, however, be aware that it can only hold about 260 lbs, and that weight limit includes the mattress. When a grown, adult male gets on it, the frame almost looks like its going to break, NOT because the quality is poor, its not, however, it just cannot really take a full-grown adult male. Perhaps a female, who is small and lightweight. Other than that, for children, it is a great buy for the price. I wouldnt ever buy this for men. I do think they have a heavy gauge version in iron.
It shipped promptly, arrived in excellent condition and it wasnt difficult to put together. I recommend it for the right person.
Affordable and very nice! My brother helped with the assembly, it wasnt difficult to do. It looks really nice, I like mission style furniture. You do need to put a couple of screws into the bed slats or else youll find yourself in the floor.
It was easy to assemble, but unfortunately it didnt last a full year. The night of February 16th it collapsed on me when I sat up and I am not that heavy. When I tried to get up it broke a bit more. The area where the screws go ripped. I dont throw myself on the bed at all, the wood isnt that strong like a 4x4 wood. I received this item around September of last year. It isnt worth its price because of how feeble the wood is. I am not that big of a person and the wood couldnt even hold me properly.
I didnt even get this bed all the way out of the box. The veneer was badly chipped in some places, and the wood was incredibly rough. It felt almost unfinished, and I ended up with a small splinter from one of the pieces. There was no way I could put it into my childs room.
The seller was helpful and accepted my return.

I bought an 8 inch mattress and worried because some recommendations suggested 10. Im glad I bought 8 inch, Linenspa 8 Inch Memory Foam and Innerspring Hybrid-Mattress - Medium-Firm Feel - Twin. I like to see the design of day bed and feel the 8 inch is perfect but judge for yourself with pictures. Cant wait to add mattress protector and spread to bed. I assembled this by myself and found the directions and assembly quite easy to follow. Cant review the long run yet but so far loving it and would recommend.
