Nothing pre-assembled, but not difficult for two of us to put together in an hour. The wood is very soft, so even trying to get the stickers off left small dents in the wood (from my fingernails), but overall were very happy with the quality for the price.
Bought with two (2) Modway Aveline 8 Gel Infused Memory Foam Twin Mattress With CertiPUR-US Certified Foam and one (1) Leggett Platt Consumer Products Group Deluxe Daybed Hardware with Link Pop-Up, 39-Inch to make a complete daybed/trundle set for guest use. Have ordered a set to connect the two mattresses to make an [almost] king bed (slightly shorter than a regular king, but long enough for a tall person to sleep on) because the trundle rolls a little.
It looks great, came separate days but was worth the wait! This is exactly what I was looking for and hoping for! it was inexpensive, but doesnt look it, it is very nice looking, it is contemporary or transitional. I got the dark brown wood color and it really fits perfectly in the room. If youre looking for a daybed, you will not be sorry. It probably took about an hour to put together, but no special tools needed.
I would have gladly paid $100 more to get this assembled because it was a NIGHTMARE. It looks good but is not as sturdy as it should be....the sides are connected with joint connectors and barrel nuts but they dont connect tightly. The finish is nice but when I scraped off the stickers which identified the parts, with my thin, short fingernail, a little bit of the finish came with it. I am going to ask my brother to come over and help me secure it better somehow.
Love it! I bought it for my sons room ... After reading the reviews I was worried about the difficulty of assembling this day bed. My friend did it solo in 1 hour, no issues. Looks great!
Looks gorgeous and easy to assemble. A good product. It is sturdy, almost easy to assemble (you need a magnetized screw driver in case you stick in the nut the wrong way). A perfect day bed. Has become an all-day bed for our dog.
Excellent value for money Excellent buy. This is an extremely inexpensive piece of furniture. You cannot go anywhere else (except second hand store) and find a wood daybed for under 200-300$. A few reviews said the daybed was flimsy, or not well made. I do not agree. For under 200$ you get a nice looking daybed that feels 100% stable. One person can sleep comfortably, or two people can sit like on a sofa. The finish will scratch easy so be sure to lay down a blanket or put together on carpet.
I purchased a 10 inch thick, twin size, memory foam mattress that fits very well. We are using this as a spare bed.
Overall the daybed was relatively easy for two people to put together. Similar to Ikea assembly. It took us roughly an hour or two. Shipping was fast.

Also, it fits only a mattress no box spring which makes it a bit stiff to sleep on. I would buy one again though and recommend it for someone wanting a handsome daybed for a spare room.
