The bed looks great, solid as a rock, no squeaks or noise of any kind and my standard twin 6 inch mattress on a pop up trundle fits snugly under the frame. Easy to put together alone, would be a tad easier with two persons. Only snag occurred at the start of assembly due to the mis-labeling of 2 similar parts. Once I figured out the mistake all went according to instruction. Should I need to purchase again in the future I will certainly press buy again!!! Very satisfied
Cheap sturdy stylish!!! Packaged very well. Instructions were very easy to follow and all hardware was packaged together and was clearly identifiable. Each piece was identified with a removable stick-on label that came off easily. Material is solid pine (no pressboard here) with no imperfections with the stain and clear coat. The only tool, I needed to provide, was a Philips screwdriver, everything else was included in the box. It took me approximately 45 minutes to put this together. On a scale of Easy, Medium, or Hard for assembly, this project falls in the Easy range.
Better than expected While I did find the instructions hard to read at first, once i got the hang of them it was easy to follow. Definitely have a friend to help if you can, because those little slats can be a pain to get lined up and put together without an extra set of hands.
The bed itself is beautiful and seems to be made of sturdy materials. It will do really nicely in my guest room for years to come, I think
I have mixed reviews about this product. This looks nice, not very sturdy as expected for the price. It came with a few broken areas as you can see in the pic. I didnt return as I felt its not worth going through the pain to re-pack and return. Building is just okay compared to ikea products. It was really hard to keep the back slats in place while building rhe product.
Pleased with this purchase. This has been a great bed for my 3-year-old son so far. The bad is firm and sturdy and looks nice. I was hesitant to purchase a bed online, however, after using the bed for the past month, I would say Im definitely a fan. Take a chance on this bed... you wont be disappointed.
The espresso color is a darker brown, but matches up well with the other furniture in my sons bedroom.
The overall construction time was probably about 90 minutes, and can be done alone. Having said that, it was nice to have my wife available to help in a couple spots where I needed help holding a piece while tightening the screws.
My wife or I read stories to our son each night and one of us is in the bed with him while we read and the bed is sturdy and solid under both of our weights. I honestly dont have any concern or worry that the bed wouldnt support us. My son and I combined are around 220lbs.
The biggest issue I have with the bed is the large space underneath the bed because now my son likes to hide under his bed when he doesnt want to do what we are asking of him... not the fault of the bed though. :)
Overall, I would definitely recommend this bed and think youll be pleased.
