    Worth it

Chair is top tier. Came fully assembled and is extremely comfortable. delivered it fully into my apartment which was handy since this chair is reasonably heavy and comes in a large box.

Wish I had bought one sooner!!!!!! You sit in a chair working for hours on end. Buy a great chair.

Wow. I cant believe I waited till 58 to invest in the kind of chair I sat in when I was 21. Think about it: you sleep, relaxes in a bed for hours; you sit in a chair, stressed and working in different unrelaxed positions. A chair is at least as important an investment as a good mattress. I love this chair. Its incredibly adjustable. More importantly, wts an adult chair. Its solid. Its not going to fall apart. It holds me with strength. I wish I had invested in the best from the start.

    Great chair

Love the adjustability and support of the chair. Hands down the best. My only complaint is the seat. Its not cushioned enough and my bum aches after sitting in it a while. Wish it was more plush or soft. I have an additional support on using to cushion the hardness of the seat.

    disappointing

For a $1000 chair there are actually a couple of things to hate about it, the primary one being that the arms arent connected to the chair back, so when you recline back the arms stay up front. The arms are adjustable but they dont slide back far enough to give you any arm support whatsoever when in the recline position. Even if they did, you wouldnt want to have to adjust the arms every time you recline. Also, the chair is stupidly heavy so if you ever have to lift it up to move it somewhere its pretty awful. Also, my butt starts to feel this chair after less than an hour sitting in it. I got this chair for $200 off craigslist and I still hate it. The Aeron chair suffers from none of these problems and costs about the same.

    It a decent chair

The chair is nice. I expected there to be adjustable lumbar support based on product descriptions here and on the site. The arms are a mystery to me. They are adjustable, up and down, in and out, and the top piece is moves as well. My biggest gripe is that you dont dare put any force on the arms while rising because only the up and down function can be fixed in place until adjusted again. If you put any force on them they move unexpectedly. I also hoped the seat and back would tilt.

    Worth the price

I have had the chair for about a month, I use it for several hours a day, and have to say it is worth the price. When I first sat in it I found it uncomfortable in my lower back. I thought about returning it, however, I realized the chair was forcing me to sit with correct posture. This correction over time it has helped relieve some of my issues with sciatica.

Really nice chair but seat cut off circulation

This chair has the most comfortable back that Ive ever sat in. The chair I received also had additional lumbar support and hard floor casters, which are great add-ons that were not in the description. The chair back cradled my back as I moved around, and I felt that my back was being supported whether I was leaning back or sitting upright. Additionally, I felt that I could slouch in the chair and it would not cause back pain. This makes sense as designed the chair for a range of sitting positions. The arms on this chair are also the most adjustable chair arms that Ive ever used. Most office chair arms are positioned either too low or too far forward for me to rest my elbows when my arms are by side. The cushion on the arm rests are also soft but supportive. Unfortunately, no matter how I positioned the height and depth of the seat, I felt that my legs were losing circulation. I tried lowering the seat, but that caused my butt to hurt. I also tried moving the seat forward, but that didnt seem to help. If I raised the seat too high, it would cause circulation problems with my legs. Compared to other office chairs that Ive sat in, the Gesture places a lot of pressure on my thighs. I believe this is because the foam is very dense. Additionally, the center of the seat caves in slightly and the edges of the seat are raised. For reference, Im 6 ft tall and weigh 190 lbs. Tip: sometimes the Gesture is on sale for $825 here (as of March 2021). I think this is a great deal, as Ive seen it commonly sold for $1000 on and dealers.
