Face it, I didnt buy a custom bed frame, but this one functions and looks good for the price and convenience. I had the movers set it up and they had no problems. It is very sturdy and has a nice, clean appearance. Im very satisfied b Its not for everyone, but its perfect for us!
My brother just moved in with us and needed a solid queen-size platform bed that would accommodate a Lucid memory foam mattress. We live in an antique house with narrow stairway that takes a right turn, making it nearly impossible to get furniture or large mattresses upstairs to the bedrooms. We had a removable bannister built for this purpose but neither my brother nor my husband are currently in any shape health-wise to take on that task. When the 70+ lb box was delivered to our door I helped him slide it indoors where we unpacked and sorted out the pieces, all of them smooth and beautiful solid poplar. Another reviewer mentioned a smell. Have no idea what he was smelling. I carried the pieces in batches upstairs where my brother laid them out, watched the video, and had everything assembled in about an hour. He had the foresight to also order furniture gliders to place under the legs, making it way easier to move the bed, which is very close to the wall, to change the sheets. Were leaving it unstained - the natural wood is lovely. It looks amazing
This seems well made. The wood is solid and the design sturdy. Assembly was straightforward and instructions were clear. It has plenty of slats to support the mattress. The manufacturer has incredible customer service. Its very comfy and Im very happy!
Easy assembly for my wife and I. Seems very sturdy and the materials are quality. The company should offer a finished version but I love the unfinished look. For the money it is awesome!
Super sturdy! This is the second set of these XL Twin beds that Ive bought. The first ones I stained to match the trim in our previous house (the house buyers wanted to buy them too). I was lucky to find them again and Im leaving them natural this time! So easy to put together so simple and sturdy, and all real wood! Great purchase, dont hesitate...

I just received this bed yesterday and let me tell you I am not disappointed. At first my husband and I were shopping for a solid wood frame, no pressed wood or veneer particle board type bed. We have already been down that road and while it did hold up for 6+ years I can tell you that it really didnt fit our mattress and at one point the supports for the middle kept slipping out to the point I gave up trying to fix it anymore. Fast forward to having put together and owned this frame for a day I must say it is truly a solid frame. Everything came packaged in a long box probably 5 or 6ft long and wrapped with some heavy duty band material. For the size and weight of this box (70+ lbs) the box was in better shape then some really small packages I have received. we opened the box and sorted the parts out in their respective categories and opened the 1 package of hardware needed to assemble the bed and got to work. Between both of us it probably took us about 1hr to 1 1/2 hrs to put together. For as many parts that came in the box it LOOKED complicated, but as we progressed it really wasnt hard or difficult at all. We had literally no issues trying to figure out the directions. The directions were very well written and described every little detail that is needed to make sure mistakes dont happen. All the holes are predrilled, and required no modifications on our part. Some dowel holes were a little tight to fit together, but nothing that a slight tap from a rubber mallet couldnt fix.
(I didnt mind this because I wouldnt want a bed frame that sqeaks or falls apart later anyways.) Overall, this SOLID WOOD bed frame, the directions, the very attractive price tag, and the sturdiness all make me give this bed frame an A++. I would highly recommend getting something like this if you are: in the market for a bed frame that is solid wood, doesnt cost a kidney, dont want to wait forever for a furniture store to deliver your $2k+ bed frame (not including matteress), and the ability to customize it should you feel the need to. Paint it, stain it, you name it, you can do whatever you want to make it your own work. Get this bed! You wont be disappointed! Amazing exactly what is described

This second bed is to replace the Full size bed in my 22 year old daughters room. I looked all over for a nice looking sturdy bed frame and most of the frames I saw were cheaply made and looked cheap. I am so happy I purchased this bed frame. It is made of very high quality gorgeous wood. The natural colors in the wood add to the charm. The slats allow me to just have the mattress and not purchase a box spring. The price was very affordable as well. One of the best things about these frames are they are they are the Untied States of America and the would is from the state of Georgia. I love these frames and have recommended them to others.
I bought this in xl twin for my guest house. Its really easy to put together. It came 4 days earlier than expected. It looks like it will be stable for grown men. I hope so! The customer service is amazing and they have great products I recommend their products 1000% really check them out !!!!
