I love this bed!! So easy to assemble.
There were no missing parts. The hex wrench was included and the only other tool needed was my Phillips head screwdriver. The wood comes already sanded; no sharp or rough edges and looks very nice unfinished.
There is a wonderful video on theframes.com website. I found it to be very helpful which by the way, was put to music and that added touch made this project so enjoyable and relaxing. I was able to assemble it by myself, a proud 70 yr old female! ;)
This had easy assembly and instructions. You definitely want to rub the pieces down with sand paper 120 or higher. We stained this with a heavy carbon grey by Glidden.
Very good quality. But not Superior. Extremely easy to assemble. Do you want anything its unfinished and its super hard to stain it, sanded, and then stain it again. Very time-consuming. Next time I would definitely purchase something that is already stained.
I assembled the bed using the instructions, hex key provided, and a few other tools. It took me about 4 hours. I used 100 grit and 120 grit on some of the rougher spots after assembly. Not too many of them. Then I learned a lesson: dont use Watco Danish Oil! Its really smelly. Stick with water base unless you can do it in your garage. Or leave it natural. I did the assembly, sanding and staining (just headboard, sides and footboard) in the bedroom on tarps. Love this bed: simple, sturdy, any bedding looks great on it and the price was right.

Satisfied
It looks as pictured and seems sturdy. Im using it as a frame for a latex bed, and its working well thus far.
