Easy to assemble as all tools as provided... took longer to build than expected - probably much faster with two people... let the wood rest indoors for at least a week to remove most of the strong pine smell - a good air purifier would be of help as well doing the week... very satisfied with my purchase
I absolutely do not like how the instructions are written, the screws aren't organized or labeled and the measurements are confusing. Otherwise, the item is nice for children.
Extremely difficult to assemble. Some pieces come with the wooden dowels in them and dont fit. Every slat has to be assembled. Instructions are very poor. Stairs dont actually add much storage at all as nothing fits on the shelves. VERY wobbly. Definitely need a bunkie board as slats are wayyy too far apart. Horrible quality honestly only worth about $100. Absolutely hate it but Im not taking the 500 bolts out to return.
We love the bed we received, but we didn't receive the bed we ordered and paid for. So, we had to go through the customer service and get refunds for the difference etc. It was disappointing to not receive the loft with stairs, when in fact that is what we ordered. They sent the one with the ladder. On verification, we had ordered the one with the stairs, as intended. Rather than go through, what would have been a ridiculous exchange, and then wait for the right bed, we kept the one we were sent. It is a long process to put together. While it is sturdy-ish, there is a slight shake to the bed and I am unsure how to make it more steady. It is an amazing addition to our kids room. It does create space and will work for awhile. Is it worth ordering, quite possibly. It has the best weight restriction for the bed of it's type in this price range. It's decent value for what you pay. Considering that you can pay upwards of 2000.00 for other mid loft beds, I would say if you are looking for a good budget buy that seems safe and sturdy enough for a young child, this is probably the bed for you.
Although this bed is very nice and the instructions are incredible we severely underestimated how long it would take us to put it together. We thought it would take 2 hours tops. More like 6. But it was well worth it as our daughter loves it.
I bought this used for the cheaper price and it was like perfect condition dont know why they returned it. My Kindergarten age son loved his new bed especially after we added our old christmas lights underneath. This was not as hard to put together as I thought it would be. I did it by myself in about 3 hours. I wish the slide and stairs had a little more sturdy of attachment pieces than two teeny screws on brackets but it works well for my 5 year old and his sisters. The slide was fast and steep despite it being a shorter loft bed but we added pillows on the bottom and that helped.
Took me and my dad 2-3 hours to put together. Not something you could do alone. Great for my 5 year old. She loves it. I bought a 5 inch mattress for it
WE LOVE THIS BED! I've had my eye on this bed for a while so at Christmas time I picked up extra shifts to make it happen for my 2 boys! They love it, we love it! But that top rail is just not sturdy! We've tightened it and tightened it and it's just not staying sturdy! We get up and tighten it every morning cause I'm scared to death they are gonna be in there playing and it fall on them! As much as I love this bed and hate to rig it together I'm probably going to add some supports somehow for this rail!
I really like this bed and am super pleased with the quality at this price. Unfortunately one of the the bed frame legs was missing from my package, so I cannot fully assemble it yet. I have emailed the Max and Lilly customer support and will update with outcome/final thoughts after that is sorted out

My husband took about 3 hours to assemble it. Very beautiful and well made. No problems at all... my 3 year old son loves it.
