I bought this for my son.never had a mattress that came in a box before,so that was a little weird. Once you open the box put the mattress on the bed frame where its gonna be before you take the plastic off.It comes with a little plastic cutter to cut the plastic.Once u do that its so cool how it puffs up.Let it rise completely before you make the bed to sleep on. It takes about 48 hours to be completely fluffy and 10 inches tall. Im glad its standard.It has different hardness on both sides. My son is only 12 years old and is growing up, so I chose the harder side! He likes a mattress very much because it gives him a good sleep! We all like it.

Im using the softer side of the mattress (for the past month). It has greatly reduced my back and hip pain and has allowed me to rest comfortably. I let it fill out for the reccomend 72 hours and it did reach the 12 inches promised.
It does get rather warm, but that is understandable considering I got a thick mattress.
Be sure to get deep pocket sheets if you purchase the 12 inch mattress.
My 18 year old cat has taken to the new mattress as well. She gives it 5/5 paws. She has claimed her spot and woe betide those that disturb her sleep. Because of the thickness of the mattress I had to get a step for her to get up and down easier. Something to think about if you have an older fur baby sleeping with you.
Omg my daughter loves it shes only.slept in it for 2 nights now but man shes out like a light in 5 minutes
Im ordering my self a queen once the price drops down to 500 for the 12inch I cant wait ive litterly laid on my daughter bed 4 times now since I have major back pain and omg once I lay down for 20 mins my back pain is gone and I have it on the soft side for my daughter a must buy and there is no smell what so ever if I could give this 10 stars I would!!!

Comfy but the way it was packed the upper corners never fully filled out. They curve down. ?? Bottom corners dont do that.
