I am 6 1 and I visited many stores to get the most perfect chair possible. I educated myself to the point I could sale these lift chairs myself via the specialty stores who handle nothing but these chairs for the ones in need of them due to health. I actually needed a specialty chair from the health specialty recliner store but it was too expensive 2,600.00 to 3,200.00 (the middle man has to make a living).
And after spending months of research and so many trips when I can hardly walk due to neuropathy, I settled for this one. I literally spent hours upon hours in these chairs at the stores.
This one I sat in and not on (at least in the floor model at the store). After my new chair was assembled for me and installed OMG! (Thats GOSH!) It was as hard as all the other 1000 dollar plus models I had sat in. BUT WAIT! What happened to the sinking into the chair about 3 inches and it being all comfortable for my back one at Ashely
NOPE! I come to realize that the one in the store was WELL broken in. And that is what I SO BADLY NEED for my severely bad lower back. If this chair does not put me in the nursing home because of worsening my mobility daily, I shall suffer with it for I do not know how long until it is broken in as the one was at that I spent hours in to make sure it would work,
I found all the 1,000 to 1,500. chairs are like rocks due to the foam used and construction needed for these lift chairs.
I live in my chair due to my poor health. And people will say, why not return it, well returns of heavy furniture in these Covid times are not an option. Especially after the box and packing is all gone. I did purchase the 5 year warranty. I can see these motors crapping out with daily use.
So just beware that if you have back issues already this is just another chair to avoid and if you have the money you must get the 2,500 to 3,000. Specialty chairs. And all the more so if you are 510 or taller.
I must have read 400 to 500 reviews on different chairs and now here I must write a sad one on the chair I had to settle for. If you can put up with the years it will probably take to break the cushioning in and your lower back is good along with a height of 510 or less, this might be the chair for you. DO go to and sit in it first before ever buying.
DO NOT buy a lift chair on line without testing it first at a retail store. I read the horror stories. Many, many, many horror stories of online purchases. Good luck!
Missing external electronic components. The power cord and the massage hook ups are missing and there were no instructions. Please send the remaining components or a 250 refund. Thank you.
The manual was very easy to understand. It was very easy to install. It took me an hour and a half to put it together by myself. I absolutely love everything about the recliner. The recliner was exactly how it was described! What an awesome buy!
sent incorrect left f sleeve for chair back. text withlet them know of situation in early may. they couldnt retrieve the photos i sent,so here it is mid june and nothing from comhoma. asked for s phone i could send text with photo and order and chair model. So chair great company customer service bad.
I bought the cream color.
It was shipped and delivered very fast, which I liked.
My husband was very relieved to see how easy it was to put together! Everything works and it looks great. I find it comfortable.
When I went to sleep I would forget about my remote and sure as can be I would hit the button that tilts it and I would slide out on the floor! other than that its great but that was enough for me to return it.
Im 335 and unable to use my knees without great pain. This chair rises and falls well and help tremendously. The saddle leather is fine and comfortable. The chair is just wide enough in the seat to be comfortable but Id probably look for a wider seat in the future. the biggest gripe would be the leg lift. It does not go up high enough to be really comfortable on the long haul. The back reclines to nearly flat for good sleeping at night with a small pillow. Again, a higher leg lift would matter a great deal. I called furniture for an extended warranty but they said that the listed warranty is not from them and they dont do one. Just a caution.

The chair came fast and is worth every cent
The labels wear on opposite side is the only negative impact but we soon figured out how to assemble
