Im a bigger guy and this is a very comfortable and well made chair. Its a little bit of a bear to get the seat back and arms attached. The base is wood with metal brackets to hold the wheels. The arms are also made of wood. The only plastic on this chair are the wheels and the plugs that cover the screw heads on the arms. It feels solid. Im 5ft 10in and with the seat at full height my feet on flat on the floor.
The chair overall is nicehowever, the weird two cushion design amd the materials are awkward. The chair constantly makes you feel like youre going to slide off. So you have to make a conscious effort to keep yourself planted.
This chair is super comfortable and adjustable. It is aesthetically pleasing. The material is bonded leather and feels great when you sit in it. The multiple adjustments of the chair make it an enjoyable experience to sit. I spent long hours in this chair without any discomfort.
It should be noted that I bought a set of those aftermarket rubber wheels that was suggesting to go with this chair, as it was high-past-time the shredded old plastic office mat vintage 1995 that was under my old chair got the heave-ho; this has raised this chair somewhat from its design point.
This chair feels very, very, very good. Im not a snob so I couldnt care less about whether bonded leather is real or fake leather - its actually real leather scraps from making higher-quality items, fused together into a sheet and worked like normal - and this chair _feels_ like Im sitting in the chair of the general managers office chair of some kind of branch office of a multinational firm of some sort or another.
The instruction sheet doesnt mention it, but on the underside of the chair seat are a couple of L-shaped plastic brackets that were stapled to the bottom of the chair, to act as spacers for the front of the chair mounting bracket. The instructions do not even depict these spacers; in fact the assembly instructions depict the chair _without_ these spacers. Since the chair has its own native tilt-back and lock function, theres no need to retain these, and I wouldnt really want a structural member of my chair being affixed by mere staples anyway. Removing the spacers was a little obnoxious but nothing too difficult; if you leave them on, the front of the chair will be tilted upwards quite a bit even with the chair bracket at full-flatness. I tossed them, I suggest you do too.
Assembling this thing by myself was a royal pain in the rear, but the instructions _do_ say two adults recommended for assembly. I did not have any other adults to call upon, so I had to make do. The hardest part by far was aligning the holes in the seat with the holes in the backs mounting plate.
My major complaint is that they used Allen-headed screws and an included Allen-wrench. Why, for the love of all that is holy, do companies keep doing this? Phillips Head screws are just fine, and everybody has a Phillips Head screwdriver. I banged my knuckles up a lot using the included Allen Wrench, and I was obliged to duct-tape said wrench to the underside of the chair for later-on tightening-up work.
Otherwise, this thing feels _so good,_ especially the adjustable lumbar support. No way of knowing if it will remain that way, especially since Im sure to be using it day-in, day-out, for years and years and years to come, but hopefully Ill get many years of good use out of it.
Very comfortable and classy looking chair. Not an ergonomic chair youre going to want to use for full days at a computer due to its relaxed nature but thats not really what you buy this chair for. The biggest (and really only) problem i have with this chair are the casters. Theyre terrible. Theyre plastic and as soon as any weight is put in the chair (pretty typical for a big and tall chair) they basically stop rolling at all and drag and scratch on the floor. Really should have been heavier duty, ball bearing type casters.

Back problems?
Comfortable, sleek, and sturdy chair. Well adjustable.
Not durable.
The adjustable base attached to the bottom of the seat failed at the welds after 2 months.
Support and good looks
Is a great chair. Really helped my back.
Feels pretty good on day 1.

Comfortable and Good Looking but Casters are TRASH
