Overall happy with the purchase and cost. It was pretty simple to put together but definitely recommend two people especially for the top. Only complaints
1. There was a minor chip in one of the boards but it happened to be on a board thats not visible so not a big deal
2. We had to drill our own hole in one of the metal pieces because it was missing it
We do not like the small coffee table that we ordered in error and tried to cancel before shipping. We just moved into a house so decided to accept it for another use anyway. Assembly was not intuitive; the instructions were very poorly written and not thorough. Assemblies would appear in the next step that was not covered in previous steps. Once together, there are two screw heads visible on each end. The butt joints of the legs are not even, though one could take more time in assembly to correct the issue. I would not recommend this table to anyone. When raising the top, it rises unevenly and snaps up to tilt the table (if no weight on the bottom shelf to keep it down).
Its decent for the price though I feel like I mightve just gone to Ikea instead. You can tell the wood patter is printed and pixelated but only if youre up close to the table. Some parts were peeling apart right out the box but nothing a little glue cant fix. The biggest thing was that the instruction manual was in German / which coincidentally I speak fluidly but I highly doubt that was a consideration when they sent me this one. Thankfully, the assembly instructions themselves are simply images so since nobody really reads anything else, it wasnt a deal breaker. Decent product if youre on a budget.

DO NOT USE POWER TOOLS TO ASSEMBLE. Overall the tabletop is easy to lift but more like a launch and not easy to put back down as you have to hold the table to keep it from sliding across the floor
The length of Modern Lift Top Coffee Table wasnt long enough! I like the lift table as I use (2) 17 Laptops as it pulls / lifts the Laptops to me. But the length only allowed 6 inches to add speakers and HDMI as well as USB ports per Laptop. Lack of space!
I almost didnt buy this because of the reviews bemoaning its short stature, but I have a shorter couch so I decided to try it out anyway, Im glad I did! I love this table, its the perfect height for eating or working on my computer while sitting on the couch (a must, as I do not have a desk or any other location to work). While getting the table top on wasnt the easiest by myself, propping it on said couch and putting the springs on only after it was all together worked great. Like others, Im leaving the protective plastic on the corners, they look like they belong! 10/10 would recommend, I love this table.
Its exactly the way you expect/hope it to be from the picture, doesnt make any noise, i have drinks on there, beer, wine ect and with care can easily extend and retract with no spills, nvm anything else moving, its great.
Looks great too, and nice weight to it, very sturdy
I am moving overseas so wont be putting this together for another 5 months. Fingers crossed all the parts are in the box though I may open just too check hopefully almost is inside too what is needed.

We do not like the small coffee table that we ordered in error and tried to cancel before shipping. We just moved into a house so decided to accept it for another use anyway. Perfect for small apartments!
