Aming bed. Wouldnt let young kids up top easy fall Hzard but easy to assemble. (Kinda needed to read through each step before starting otherwise you wont know which way to put it.) And when putting the M part top cover on the sides it was such a tight fot we had to hammer one side anf unassemble the other to make it easier.)

very HIGH QUALITY. Very sturdy, very well made. My husband said it had about 2000 separate parts, but the instructions were extremely well written and everything it said to do was in order and clear and easy to understand. It helps if you have an extra set of hands during assembly. This bed is heavy, so build it where you want it to ultimately be, it will be hard to move to another room later. My daughter loves this bed.
I gave this set to my grandchildren for Christmas 2014. Here is what their mother reports:
It does not come with mattresses (which we knew). It came with all of its parts and clear directions.
In putting them together, you do need a second pair of hands for part of the process.
It has held up great with two active 5 6 year olds. We have had it over a year.
It squeaks but that only really happens when the kids are getting in and out of the bed or making their beds.
If I ever needed another set, I would purchase this bed again.
I have not tried to take the bunk bed apart and make it two beds.
Great adorable be The only complaint Ive had is that the ladder bars are slippery if they have socks on, which is pretty much always.
I solved this by getting a 1.50 blue self/adhesive first aid bandage roll and wrapping the rungs with it. It provides a non/slip grip for little feet.
This is a great item. Not too difficult to put together.I put it together by myself, but it would have gone together quicker if I had someone else helping. Great ite Love
I feel unsafe using this bed, though it seems really sturdy. I hired a carpenter to assembled this. The bed itself wiggles a lot even on a slightest movement, and it started to make squicky sounds after a week. Average weight user is just around 150/200lbs though. I may have to sell this and just stick to a single bed
