Was looking for beds for both my girls (4 6), hard originally chose a wooden set but after measuring the space I changed my mind and got this metal set. It was delivered while I was out and placed in the middle of the yard, no problem, but it was rather heavy to move into the house by myself, but I did it. Drug it into my girls room and opened the box checked to make sure all the parts were included, they were. Read through the manual and even though 2 people are recommended for putting it together I didnt want to wait. In just under 3 hours I had it put together, could have saved 20minutes but I put the railing on upside down. Overall it went together very easily and my girls love i
Very nice for the money. I was able to put them together by myself, but do pay attention to the directions. I could not see that the ladder was reversible, so it you want it on the left as opposed to the right, you will need to modify. Another point, the ladder comes off the bed at an angle, which will take away floor space. I may cut and shorten the ladder to make it flush against the bed.
My 15 year nephew put it together. It took us 2 hours. Its sturdy. I have a thick twin mattress so the rails really dont make a difference. I am using a queen mattress and it is a tad too big, so I would recommend doing it, but I am not going out and buying a new mattress. Im happy.
I like this bed for the price. However, it is much less sturdy than Id like. I keep tightening the screws but its very shakey and squeeks a lot. Any suggestions would be welcome. My son is 125 lbs, within the weight requirements. So thats why I gave it a 3
Good for how cheap it was, but some of the pieces came bent and not as stable as I wanted it to be, definitely dont want your kids playing on it at all.
it is ok for the price, definitely not perfect. And I dont think it is for heavy people. It doesnt look sturdy but it is fine for light people less than 100 pound to sleep on top. It does wobble. many areas have a little rust in it. Paint was chipped in a couple of places. Instructions are fine, not hard to understand. I hope they do a better job in the paint area / dont mind paying a little more for no rusting. Anyway, I like it, just not the rusting part.
