UPDATE: Customer Service reached out to rectify the issue. They sent me a new umbrella. We used it this weekend and so far so good. However, we did notice the tilt direction changed with the slightest wind.
I had really high hopes for this umbrella . However, it is already broken. We tried to let it up today and the string that helps it go up was separated from the material. Very disappointed and ruined our day!
Beautiful and very sturdy. Took 10 minutes to put together. The base is too light for high winds but I got a weight bag from and filled it with pea gravel. Now it has a 100 pound base and wont budge. Its hot here in Texas but the temp under the umbrella is 20 degrees cooler. Get you one!
