I tried to go with the affordable option. This fit the bill and does an adequate job of providing shade. But it isnt all that sturdy, even in a light wind. The tilt mechanism ceased to lock in less than a month, so it has a permanent tilt to it. It may have simply had a defect. If your goal is something simple in a relatively sheltered location, this is an inexpensive choice that might fit your needs. I ended up buying a more expensive umbrella for about 200 and it will be worth the investment.
We got this to replace one of those expensive shade SCREEN patio umbrellas which did not keep the rain off our picnic table. This one is definitely keeping things dry underneath and is holding nicely up so far. Not sure it will last for many years with constant sun exposure, but the price is so reasonable we can afford to replace it every couple years. The larger 10 ft. size was better for us, provides more shade and more waterproofing. So far, we love it.
My husband and I set the umbrella up today and we are hopeful that it will suit our needs. It was super easy to assemble and operate. Time will tell how sturdy it is. My only complaint at the moment is that I ordered burgundy and received beige / disappointing.

My Umbrella Rib Broke in 1.5 month
Id like the umbrella it was easy to stand up and assemble but one of the ribs broke 1.5 months of me buying it.can you replace this.
