    Not comfortable at all

This mattress is a pillow top. One side is way too soft, I sunk way down. Flipped the mattress and all I can feel is the coil springs. When I sit on the edge of it, I feel the hard frame. I still wake up with back pain. Very disappointing.

    Firm

This was more firm than I expected

Four stars because it is 4/5s of a good mattress

This mattress has a very high build quality // totally worth the cost. I was surprised by the quality. I recommend waiting for a deal, as I bought the 12 for 350, and thats about what the mattress is worth. This is a medium/firm mattress, leaning towards firm. I like a little more sinkage so it was uncomfortable until I put a plush mattress pad on it. Now its perfect. Very supportive and balanced. Since it needs a little extra plush before its perfect, Ill say it is 4/5s of a good mattress. Even if you need to put a 40 plush cover on it, you will be very happy with this bed, especially for the price.

A great mattress for a great price!

It took a full 72 hours to fully expand, but very comfortable. I purchased for a spare bedroom, but all who have slept on it says they had a restful nights sleep. No backaches, even for those who have back issues.

    Lumpy On One Side

I ordered the 12 inch King mattress. Be prepared and have 2 strong people to bring inside after delivery as my husband had to assist the UPS man with unloading. We unpacked the mattress and within an hour it was 80 inflated. As instructed, we left the mattress laying flat for 72 hours. After 8 full days, the left side of the mattress was still lumpy. I contacted customer service and was well taken care of for the defect. On the other hand, my husband and I both love a plush top mattress. After reading several reviews, about half stated it was plush and the other half said it was medium, so we took a chance and purchased it anyways. A plush mattress topper would likely do wonders on top of this bed, but I felt that it was not super uncomfortable. I give 3 stars overall for the comfort and design of the mattress (considering the defect) BUT I give a 5 star review for the service we received due to our issue!

    Doesnt last

Very firm at first with no support around the edges. Weve had this mattress 2 years and it has broken down to the point we need to order something else. Also the fabric on the top is very flimsy and easy gets snagged

    Not long lasting

I bought this mattress in November 2020. It hasnt been a year and we are looking at new mattresses. It felt GREAT the first few months and I was thrilled with it. Now it feels so uncomfortable. My husband and I are both unable to seep through the night. I actually started sleeping on the couch because its miserable. Back pain worse than Ive had in so long. I toss and turn all night. If I sleep on my side it creates a pressure point so bad it almost feels like its bruised. I know sleeping on your side is not good, but our last mattress never had an issue with this. It might great for an occasional sleep on mattress but not for every night.

    12 King Island is HEAVY

The outer cardboard shipping carton was heavily damaged but inside the box the mattress was adequately wrapped and protected with heavy duty clear plastic. If your bedroom space is limited, I suggest removing the cardboard shipping carton first, then get the mattress into the bedroom ( and using 2 people to do so, if possible). Once the mattress (still sealed in its heavy plastic) is in place on top of whatever base you are using, THEN use the included small tool that resembles a letter opener to CAREFULLY open/remove the heavy duty plastic and then the secondary light weight clear wrap. It is when this second layer of wrap is opened that the mattress begins to self inflate. As previously noted the king mattress is heavy and to avoid any damage to the product, (or yourself) do use 2 people to maneuver it. Note: there are no side handles, to aid in the lifting and/or turning it .which would have been nice to have. After allowing the recommended 72 hrs for it to fully inflate, it was ready to be made up for use. Time and use will determine the answers to questions regarding comfort level, durability etc. but for now I am very pleased. It is as described on , the cost was very reasonable, and no fiberglass was used in its construction.

    Great mattress but extremely heavy!

Love the comfort of this mattress purchased for a spare bedroom. The mattress is less than 12 thick however and it is extremely heavy so takes 2 people to change the bed. Overall would buy again but recommend a low profile box spring to be used with it as the bed is extremely low to sit on without the added foundation.

    Nightmare for truly hot sleepers!

We were moving to a new house, found out our king bed would not fit in the new bedroom, so it was a scramble to find a mattress and frame to be delivered in time—which is when I ran across this one in my thorough research. We loved our beauty rest mattress that we somehow found at a bargain hunt for a ridiculously low price and it was perfect without even trying it. I am a VERY hot sleeper. Like I need the room to be below 64 to sleep well. I knew that a memory foam mattress would give me a heatstroke, so I decided on this hybrid with the lesser amount of foam at the top. I have not slept good since moving in, and its been narrowed down to it being the mattress after changing sheets, pillows, room temp, switching from a comforter to a quilt, and taking sleeping aides. I will be returning as soon as I find a beauty rest to replace it! I wanted to love this mattress in a box with a great price, but Im done with the insanity of only getting a few hours of sleep a night. BOTTOM LINE: if you truly sleep hot (like hot natured or menopause hot flashes) do NOT get this mattress. Especially if youve ever had a problem with getting hot on memory foam mattresses in the past.
