These bunk beds are extremely squeaky. Our sons are 9 and 5 and they squeak with every move waking each other up. My husband is going to try and use washers to tighten up. The bottom bunk does allow enough room for an adult to sit up straight. They definitely are a little taller so be sure you have tall ceilings to allow room on top. The steps are also very uncomfortable to walk up. We used a pool noodle to help cause less pain. We considered sending back but did not want to go through the trouble of taking apart and shipping. Its fine.
Product came and was protected inside very well. Came with a few extra pieces. i was impressed with how well the product holds. My husband put this together was was doing pull/ups in the center of bunk (Hes 6, 210). No issues with the metal at all! Kids are excitedMom and Dad are happy! Great!
Love the product! Easy set up and instructions as well. Me and my son put it up in about 3 hours. Every few months i occasionally have to tighten up the bolts cause of wear and tear, but other than that it was a great purchase! Good quality.

I like the design, only 90 minutes to assemble with my two teenagers helping.
