This product appears very sturdy, but of course time will tell. I bought it as auxiliary sleeping for occasional guests. It complements my small office area very nicely.
The sofa comes in a very sturdy and compact box. After taking the body out, its very easy to install the legs without using extra tools. (It comes with the tool in the box as well). I did the installment all by myself including moving the box. Perfect one man job! Also, the sofa is so comfortable and you can adjust different positions to either sit or lay down. Memory foam makes it super comfy Ideal for apartment or house in your own room! Highly recommend!

Its comfortable enough for most people, just add a footstool, in my personal case. An added plus that this makes into a guest bed very easily. Its nice that you can keep the arms propped up, instead of making it lay flat, when its functioning as a couch. Makes a big difference in comfort and was a well thought out design.
The product was easy to put together. My son slept on it during his visit. Sigh, my wife now uses it to store things that should be given to good will like excess clothing. Itll be used again properly when family spends the night.
It was straight forward to assemble, directions are a clear, two page sheet. The futon is not comfortable, but in my opinion it wasnt designed to be. I wanted a couch more so, and Im OK with it. The futon is sturdy 3 out of 5. I am sure with care, it will last long enough. It looks great to me.

very pleased with purchase
I bought the 8gel foam mattress and short arm frame. They are both very comfortable but still have some smell from the mattress after two weeks
Its a futon
