    Exactly what I needed

I was a little worried about purchasing a chair not put together. But this one came with excellent directions. The tool and screws came in a very organized package. I was very impressed and if need another chair I will purchase this one again.

    A great low profile chair

This is an awesome chair. Easy to assemble, comes in low-profile packaging, is very comfortable, rolls around nicely. One is able to adjust both height and back tension. This is the perfect chair for the person who lives no-frills life. This was a great purchase and the chair fits very nicely under my computer desk without taking away any level of comfort.

    Its what I expected

A leather chair for $65? Definitely a 5, but Im not comparing it to a high dollar chair. Ordered on Sunday, sitting in it before noon on Tuesday. Its comfortable, and functional. Ive had expensive chairs, and the most common failure has been the hydraulics, which cost about the same to fix as this whole chair. I like it.

    Good Choice

My son wanted an inexpensive chair for his desk when he works at his computer. So for his birthday, I got him this. He put it together quickly and he says he likes it.

One of the easiest pices of furniture I have ever assembled!

FIRST IMPRESSIONS: Just received my brown Basics Mid-Back Office Chair today (10/7/2018). Arrived nicely packaged and within a couple of days of ordering. Immediately opened it and got out all the pieces. It basically ships in seven (7) major pieces, and the hardware needed to assemble them together: One bottom and one backrest, two padded hand rests, footstand, lift mechanism, and tilt and raise/lower actuator. You have three little ziplock bags with two kinds of screws and plastic plugs to cover them, and one handy little allen wrench. Pop the five wheels in the stand, and put the actuator in the middle of the stand. Now flip the chair bottom over and secure the lift and tilt actuator with four screws into it. Lift the chair bottom up and put it down on the stand. Take the two hand rests and secure them to the bottom, one on each side, of course, and then take the back rest and secure the backrest in place by screwing four screws - two on each side into it through the chairs hand rests. You are done. Takes ten minutes, 15 if you take your time. Once everything is connected, tighten each screw again and cap them with plugs. The chair is well padded covered with some sort of soft pleather. I also purchased a maintenance plan for $8, I thought it is worth it in the long run - three or four years, I think, for them to come and fix the chair if it fails or to re-cover it if the pleather tears, as it will be a chair that will be used daily for study for many years to come. I like it a lot. I hope it lasts. When it breaks, I will update this review. hope that was helpful

    Exceeded expectation

No complaints and was a huge upgrade from the last chair at the same price. This was a gift and they still smile when they use it.

    Good price, so-so chair

The distance between the armrests is almost as bad as an airline seat, if you are a heavyweight person look for a wider chair than this. Time will tell how well this chair holds up. It looks great though! Assembly was straightforward, if you have ever assembled one of these types of chairs there is nothing new here. One tip: when trying to get the holes of the armrest lined up with the metal grommets, the grommets fit inside of the holes. Moves the armrest around a bit until you feel the grommet set into place, then insert the bolt. Also, the instructions tell you to turn the tension spring the wrong way, turn it clockwise to tighten and counterclockwise to loosen. Right-y tight-y, left-y loose-y
