I just received these chairs. Was able to put them together in no time at all as the instructions were very well laid out.
The faux leather is very soft and the chairs themselves are very comfortable and sturdy. I like how they tilt back too if you want them to. I bought two of these and am very pleased. Would definitely recommend.
This is a totally functional chair, and for the price I definitely cant complain. As Im moving to a new city, Ive been using this chair pretty much every day as Im waiting to get a couch delivered for more comfortable sitting. With that said, the chair is very comfortable and I havent gotten sore sitting on it after extended periods.
Some minor things that prevented my from giving it a full five stars though. First, the assembly was a bit annoying. The instructions were clear and concise, but it was a little awkward getting the arm rests and seat back screwed together. The screws are quite short, and I had some issues getting them to catch the thread. Luckily its something I will only need to do once, so no big deal.
Another small gripe is that I wish the back went up more. This isnt really a fault of the chair because it clearly states it is mid-back only, but it would be nice to have something to rest my head against. This chairs ends right at my shoulder blades though, so thats not possible. Considering the Basics high-back model is another $50 though, I probably would have gone with this model regardless.
Finally, if you have wood floors be sure to buy a mat along with this. I live in an old building with original wood floors, and I noticed that the wheels were scuffing the surface after only a couple days. Im not sure if this is really a fault of the chair or the old age of the flooring, but be prepared to invest another $30 in a mat to prevent making marks.
Overall, a perfectly good chair for an unbeatable price. Would be great for someone just using it a couple hours a day, or a university student setting up his/her first apartment.
Super easy to assemble (Less than 10 - 15 mins with a allen wrench attachment). Sitting in it right now and its SUPER comfortable and I feel very supported by the cushions.
