I bought it as the product had strong reviews and ratings. It looks good and its easy to assemble. However, I was disappointed by the quality of metal used. It was chipped in few spots and was broken in other areas. I had to use 3M tape to hold it together.
Wow! We are so impressed with this product. We were skeptical from the slim 70 lb box it came in. Once we started putting it together it was easy, took about 2 hours or less. Very quality product for the money. We love how the tulip poplars are native to VA too (we are Virginians). Thank you, .
This a very sturdy, solid metal bed. It took me less than 2 hrs to put together but if you have another person to help, the setup will go a lot quicker. Im using an 8inch latex mattress on it and have had no complaints or issues for the past 2 months.
tightened the screws after a couple months and it is a good bed. would recommend. i added a third cross board to the headboard to prevent a pillow from pushing through.
Ive been looking for a bed frame for ages. Im a huge guy at 66 and any of these cheap frames seem to just squeak the moment I lay on them. I saw this, and I am so glad I made the purchase. Its solid metal, and very easy to put together. I gave the pieces a light sanding and stained them before assembling. Ive had the bed for over a month now and the support is great. No squeaks or squeals and its holding up nicely! Great product, Id recommend it to anyone!
This frame is amazingly easy to put together.. IT is sturdy.. You can stain it or leave it ... Simple....

This bed is exactly as described. I love the natural metal which I will probably be staining with a clear coat. Its super sturdy and its just the right height for storage underneath but low enough for my toddler daughter to climb up on for snuggling. Absolutely in love with the bed frame!!
I researched for weeks trying to find the best bed for under $300 and this was my final contender. I just assembled it in about an hour and all the pieces fit together like a glove (a very well made, quality glove). Ill admit it is a little intimidating when you first open the package but once you separate the pieces its extremely straightforward. I honestly enjoyed assembling it because the pieces were all perfectly cut and fell into place. See the below photo comparing the slats to my CB2 $900 platform bed and you can really see the difference in quality of beds made in China vs US. If youre on the fence about this bed, Id say get it. Also, it is silent when you lay on it. I got the gorilla mattress pad to avoid the mattress sliding and I added rubber feet to protect the metal floors. This is the same bed as the Nomad but with a headboard.
