I read a lot of bad reviews about how loud this is. Bottom line, it does the job. I added a motion sensor LED light inside so I can see. I added a small dehumidifier with gell balls to keep it dry. I also added little rubber stoppers so it doesnt close so loudly. Aside from that, its doing great.
This gun safe is perfect for my situation. It doesnt take up a lot of room and it was easy to program the code and hasnt malfunctioned, and it fits my budget. I was able to immediately store 5 rifles with an extra barrel, 2 machetes, and a survival spear. There is a ton of space in this safe! I contacted the company about their 5th-anniversary giveaway of a door organizer and the customer service was friendly, professional, quick, and attentive. Installing the door organizer was easy and quick. It is a much-needed add-on that gives the safe room for 3 handguns, extra ammunition storage space, and features a large zippered pouch for important documents (I use it for magazine storage). Overall, I love this product and would recommend it to anyone who needs a starter gun safe or needs an affordable gun safe. Happy 5th-Anniversary!
Potential cons about the product
-It is not rated to handle fires.
-Keep the keys in a safe spot just in case anything happens to the electronic keypad like the batteries dying.
-Could fall over if not properly secured or loaded incorrectly.
-The metal is not very thick on the sides. This means that it would slow down a robber from accessing your valuables but if the person had the correct tools available and proper planning, a side entry would not be difficult.

This safe met my needs perfectly. For the money and its features, it achieved the right balance for me. With a young son that I want to introduce to the shooting sports, I needed a safe to lock everything up. With the inner lockable cabinet, that allows me to lock up the ammo separately from the guns. Better safe than sorry I say. I think it is nice and sturdy and a weight that is manageable. I like the main digital lock with the backup key alternative. I like the fact that it comes with hearty bolts to lock it to the wall if youd like. I looked at many safes and this one won the competition of balance of features/characteristics for the money. I definitely recommend it.
I was pleasantly surprised when my safe arrived 4 days earlier than expected. Better yet, there was absolutely no damage to the shipping box or the gun cabinet itself. Once open I found the overall construction to be excellent considering the reasonable price. Included was a zippered document bag containing clear setup instructions, two sets of spare keys, warranty information, AA batteries, and an offer of a free door organizer panel. Programming the keypad was a snap using the provided instructions and link to an optional instructional video if you prefer. I was easily able to fit 2 scoped rifles, 3 non-scoped rifles, and had room for a tactical shotgun as well. The lock box above can easily hold pistols, ammo, or other items you choose to secure. The design is secure and offers an appropriate level of protection for my gear. Purchase some battery powered LED lights for the inside and youre set. All things considered Im very satisfied with this product and highly recommend it.
After spending a lot of time researching safes I bought this, very happy. Packaging was excellent, solid construction, easy to secure to the wall and floor. I like that it has 4 locking door pins.
I have two rifles that needed a place to be safely stored away. Upon searching for safes on , I found this among several others. I actually had a different safe in cart before I purchased this but a lot of reviews here are more convincing than on the one on my cart so I checked this item out instead. Its actually pretty sturdy and I really like how easy it is to operate. Its a bit clunky and top heavy though so it needs to be properly secured. It does the job.
For this price point this safe/locker meets or exceeds expectations. Mount it to your wall and it will secure your items against all but a concerted and coordinated theft effort--in other words, no ones getting in with anything less than an angle grinder, plenty of time, and no fear of detection. Id like it if the control panel was made of better quality materials, but it doesnt pose a security risk as far as I can tell. Bottom line: very solid, totally adequate for average needs, if you have very high value items then you need to be spending in the $1000 range at a minimum.
If you have money to waste buy one! It wont disappoint because you will because you will have wasted your money on some cheap sheet metal with no security!
